Suddenly, there is still no information about aethetic symbols for assault and tank hunter infantry sections in the British army. I will be happy to get some information to work with.
Now, there is one addition, which should be taken into account too - this symbol already in gamefiles. No doubt, this patch will have new assets, as usual it was. But, fixes and novations, based on gamefiles, have higher chance to be implemented to the live version.
I tried to get some information about IS symbols and emblems, as well as Kasarov tried too, but we didn't find anything satisfying, that's why we decided to work around this symbol with doublechevron. SneakEye is also using icon from vanilla IS with crossed grenades above chevron in his All-Units mod.
It will be cool to create new shieldsymbol with historicaly accurate symbol on it, but i need information. Then i can do something and suggest it to the balance team.

High level 1v1 is still full of assgrens. VonIvan today was all Pgrens and Assgrens. I have no idea how anyone thinks this unit is bad. Muh useless vs USF is a crock of shit too if you're not stupid. |
There really isn't any reason to change the I&R arty (fun fact, it is basically the same exact strike as the 155MM in the WC51, which nobody is complaining about.) For the munition it costs, you're just not going to see it early game, and even if you did, it's not nearly as amazing as this thread seems to make it out to be. Locking it behind Major is unnecessary as well as counter-intuitive given the very description of the unit being "authorized to call down artillery strikes".
I can understand Recon Support is a bit buff at the moment, but it definitely isn't because of the I&R arty. |
I feel like if TWP at least did full damage, it might be more worth it. Otherwise you're sacrificing damage for the possibility of inflicting more damage later, provided you can even pull it off. |
The 76mm has better dps because they don't want any one sherman to be clearly better in every way. They want each to be viable. The 76 trades the e8s durability for dps. It's a different tank entirely in that regard. Different approaches entirely.
That said, there is no reason why the E8 should have a worse reload time than the stock Sherman. |
As long as the M36 can still counter Panthers and above USF would be fine with it being nerfed. The USF ATG does not struggle vs medium or light armor, nor do bazookas (much). It's only anything with 200+ armor that USF AT falls apart against (muh muni ATG APCR rounds doesn't cut it when it counts), and the M36 should specifically fill this niche rather than handily killing anything with tracks or wheels. |

Does the vet1 camo for the raken cost muni and last only 30-40 seconds? Stugen amo cost muni, pak snipe shot cost muni, Zis barrage cost muni and I don't know what brit does have on their 6p. 5th men is there to compensate the lack of shield and I see it pretty much ok today.
I think all Atguns are pretty much equal today with specific stats and bonus. Problem is more about USF late game lacking of decent team weapon counter. We've seen a lot of complaint recently about the scott. But the scott isn't a team weapon counter, it works better vs mainline infantry. I don't know how USF could get a stock saturation's barrage unit able to kill/force retreat what it aims at like the Pzf or Katy.
Major's barrage is not enough today or it should be from the start powerful as if vet3 and with a damn bigger range. Second problem is you can only have one and you need it for FRP on team game or plane reco and last but not least: barrage cost ammo.
Well in fact, I know how, just swap Scott and Calliope but I'm not sure Mod team will be able to.
Or simply remove raketen retreat button to solve at least his issue.
Reworking the Pack Howie into a more powerful or at least responsive barrage-only unit would satisfy this while also 'nerfing' the Pack Howie. |

Jackson armor nerf will bring us back to the squishy tank destroyer state that we moved away from. Just remember, in 4 v 4s Jacksons are much more likely to face panther spams and have to flank Elephants and JTs almost every game.
Armor nerf won't change the M36 vs Panther or Heavy TD/Heavy Tank matchup since those vehicles have 100% penetration on it already. |
