Volks cannot chase wipe. G43 Pfusies wreck shop with chasedown wipes due to G43 moving accuracy, hence why I want them to lose a G43, because the amount of wipes they get while chasing retreating units is too much.

Penals are irrelevant to this, as is standoff dps at max distance.

What really needs to happen is the G43 moving accuracy meme needs to be replaced with some other function. One of the stupidest aspects of this game - units running around with scoped G43s firing accurate, rapid shots on the move with sniper rifle tracer fx...

Unfortunately I don't know how I'd rework it otherwise since the LMG42 already fulfills the role of the long-range model killer over on the Ost side, where this weapon carries over from. Subject for another thread.

Right that's why i see stroms every game and never see commandos/fallscrimjaeger.

Idk about you but I see stormtroopers quite often, especially in higher level games like the ones ImperialDane casts. Definitely more than falls (though that is mostly because grand offensive is OP)

M20 Utility Car (+50%, Vet 3)

This one grants a grand total of like 1.5 penetration at min range and if I were ever going to touch it, it'd be to buff it. Like maybe a flat +2 pen at all ranges.

The rest idc. Never made any sense why AA vehicles got penetration bonuses.

TDs having them makes more sense since they currently have to fight kill-everything heavy tanks every game, though the M36 could probably do without it with HVAP.

It could be done so that green cover doesn’t give any camouflaged bonuses, while yellow cover does.

This doesn't make any sense. A stone wall is going to provide just as much if not more concealment as a bush or a crater.

If anything any new CoH needs even more emphasis on cover; things like smoke or frag grenades (which should be a no-brainer anti-cover weapon - for some reason they are actually worse vs infantry in cover in CoH2) or pure numbers should be required to push out a squad in cover, not simply moving a squad of high-dps infantry into point blank range to drive them off.

I'd also like if combat ranges were longer, maps were bigger, and vehicle but especially tank combat was not so arcadey. Part the hopelessness in balancing this game is the HP pools involved with tanks and their nigh invulnerability to infantry; instead of running into enemy infantry at point blank with a tank being a danger because of 'snares', running into enemy infantry at point blank with a tank should be dangerous because a panzerfaust or a bazooka team could destroy it single-handedly.

At the same time, however, tank MGs should actually be worth a damn, and the source of most vehicle AI firepower rather than cannons.

Just more realism in general would be nice.

USF has it in the fotm of mayor+ambo. You only miss the lackluster MG from the HT, but thats not the main use of the unit though.

Make the IRHT 160hp and its a deal tbh.

Besides the map hack and unfixable permaspot bug the other big issue with this unit was the full HT HP and armor.
