The other thing is that just the Dozer tho would again still be shite. Adding the E8 and keeping the Calliope would then mean that it would be a good opportunity to rework it somehow and give it to another commander besides Rifle Company. Quite the conundrum. Adding 76 or easy8 would be over the top if they were some really good tanks, but they are roughly at the level of p4 (76 = ost p4, easy8 = okw p4). From what we have seen so far balance team has no intention on improving usf units beyond small "buffs" like the calliope insignificant change so both sherman variants will probably stay the same. Easy8 + calliope doesnt offer anything that axis faction cant deal with (especialy with new broken commanders of their own) even with calliope getting its gun fixed. How i see calliope with working gun is having it only to shoot HE sheels (like sherman) so it cant defend itself against armor. There should be switch option (again, like sherman) between HE shells and rocket launcher with something like 8 seconds delay before you can use one of them. Then you could leave the terrible calliope barrage as it is since it could be used on frontlines too. And now calliopes good survivability would matter. In: Lobby

Mainly because if you'd actually bother to test things, you'd have noticed that the Schrecks tend to behave badly (models rotating instead of firing) while sprinting. Good find, but i hope you noticed panzergrenadiers are significantly more expensive, come later, you cant use them as your baseline infantry and have 4 models, making them vulnerable to things like, for example, 75mm sherman. As for shrecks performing badly while sprinting, it doesnt seem to be the case when you "a click" your pgrens blob in general direction of enemy tank. From what i saw its pretty common strategy in team games. In: COH2 Balance

Look at the new ostheer commander, 2 great tanks and buffed ass grens AND of course stock rocket arty. Or new OKW commander, tiger callin, 250mp squads with double shreck + global sprint (so you cant escape pfussiliers blob trashing your tanks) AND of course stock rocket arty. We are talking about easy8 or 76mm here, these tanks are about equal to p4. If axis can have panthers, tigers, elite squads and rocket artillery all at once, why would easy8 + calliope be broken? Thread: USF Urban Assault -Feedback21 Mar 2019, 14:30 PM Worse at assaulting urban positions than rifle company, doesnt synergize with calliope as good as tactical support and definitely is nowhere near as strong as heavy cavalry. Weird and weak commander with 0 synergy between its abilities. Also for some reason one ability from mechanized company got copied only in half, essentialy wasting slot. In: Lobby
