But i did make argument about overly dominant allies early game based on latest tournament performance. Thats why i think allies early game power (especialy usf) should be toned down.
Jackson, scott and pack howi nerfs were almost confirmed by balance team members in other threads (they were discussing HOW to nerf these units, so we can assume they WILL nerf them). No need to get mad at me bruh! Yo dawg cmon! |
Ah, so nerfing USF mid to late game is apparently already a given. Better kill the early game too, for ALL Allied factions of course. God forbid if Axis factions only get a 50% winrate.

So you watched the VonIvan/Isuldur matchups with the allies losing both of the first two games (I didn't see the third so have no comment on it) and concluded that allies need further nerfs, and that somehow the Jackson is an early game unit?

I was watching latest 2v2 tourney to see how top players are pushing each faction to its limit and came to conclusion that game is almost balanced. But one thing bothered me: allies often could secure 2 fuel points in early game. I think if balance team nerfs allies early game a little (and usf units mentioned above) game will be in a best spot yet (just like panther). Discuss. |
Redundancy.
People don't build good units if they can build great units that do the same thing. The M3 is a good unit, but most of what it does is also done by the much cheaper, much earlier arriving WC51.
Same with the 76mm. Why get two 76mms when you could get an uparmoured 75mm and a Jackson?
What is "good" unit and what is "great" unit? Do you use 76mm sherman in your games? Do you have any replays by chance?
I agree with redundancy. USF has good stock tank destroyer and cheap doctrinal one. They dont need another pseudo tank destroyer with 640hp and 40 range that fails to penetrate panther most time. 76mm sherman is awful and its not being used by USF or soviet. And even if it was added to UKF and axis it would still be useless. |
Vet 3 m4a3 sherman (with radio net 2), vet 3 m26 pershing and vet3 m36 jackson are the only vehicles were the ability slightly reduces the firerate which maybe should be fixed but up until that point the ability is great to help vetting your shermans, jacksons or especially the pershing faster and maybe even killing faster but definitly allowing pushbacks and fighting way better. The ability probably should be looked at maybe rebalanced and mostly fixed. there has been noone who complained that the price of the ability is too cheap rather the opposite - maybe you should try to take off your "Dwight D. Eisenhower"-tinted glasses and see faults in the game not only on one side?
I dont need to take off any glasses, i used this ability many times, came to conclusion it sucks and is overpriced, looked at other players to see how they use it, noticed nobody ever uses it and never bothered with it again.
But maybe you are the usf god that we were promised and only you can make good use of this ability, good for you then. |
People on this forum think that combined arms, ability that makes your tanks shoot slower for 125 muni, is good ability. Single pass strafe suppressing squad for 3 seconds for 125 muni seems like most broken shit ever in comparison. At least it doesnt make your units perform worse.

Wow just like with rangers! Nobody had any problem with their damage reduction but then balance team found out that rangers have it and decided to remove it instead of adding "has damage reduction" to unit description. Im looking forward to similar treatment with command p4! |
