There is only one troll, and it is you. Say what the USF has against the kubel, before the opening of the T1 and T2. I hope you won’t tell me to choose a mechanized doctrine with the WC51, just to play against the kubel.
You can't do anything to counter a Kubel unless you catch it by surprise. You have no snares, no AT.

All Schrek upgrades should be 70 or 140 munitions depending on if its a single or double upgrade. |
So I'm thinking about units available to USF as alternatives to Riflemen the three are:
Pathfinders
Assault Engineers
Cavalry Riflemen
All are horrendously over priced, none are particularly good combat units.
Pathfinders have some useful abilities with a large sight range, ability to place beacons and cloaking ability. They are poor combat units however and cost an astounding 290 MP so I can't see them as a viable alternative to Riflemen.
Assault Engineers are also quite expensive at 280 MP, same cost as Riflemen but are pretty poor combat units as well especially at that price, they also seem to scale very poor and become less and less viable the longer the game goes on, in fact after the first 5-10 minutes they seem useless. They cost the same as Assault Grenadiers and you'd think they'd have comperable combat preformance but that they do not. Their repair and construction abilities are redundant to RETs.
Cavalry Riflemen arrive at 1 CP so I guess for that reason alone you really couldn't use them as a Riflemen replacement but more of a Riflemen supplement. They aren't a particularly good combat unit in and of themselves but they are much better than the other two afore mentioned units. They preform best when fighting inside an M3 halftrack due to their very squishy nature. Their AT satchel alone makes them a fairly good unit but they are too weak to be an effective CQB unit on their own.
So really we're still stuck with the dumb Riflemen, Riflemen, Riflemen, LT/CPT build order. I hate having more than two Riflemen because they bleed your MP dry and are terrible later in the game and take up valuable pop and MP for better infantry units like Paratroopers or Rangers.

There was no reason to dick with it the way they did other than removing it's moving cloak,
Samething with Fallschrimjagers. All they needed was a price reduction but for some reason someone got the bright idea to add all these unnecessary changes that broke the unit. |
USF has easily the worst early game of any faction. They don't have fancy shock engineer cqb units, they don't have a super OP MG thats available right off the bat. They have a pathetically bad and over priced RET unit, so-so Riflemen, useless mortar, and even more useless ambulance. Most things in the roster are over priced, so the key is to bleed USF early with snipers or infantry behind cover. It's easy to bully USF until they start getting to T2 so that's the trick, bleed their MP so they can't even build a Pack Howitzer. |
Wehrmacht, Ostheer, or as I like to call them, EZ mode version 1.0.
You've got everything you need with this faction. Units are all way too cheap, 240 MP for Grens, 260 MP for the best MG in the game and it's available to build immediately. I'm surprised they don't just give you one for free to start with. Panzergrens beat Rangers, easily beat Riflemen with or without BARs and come way too early. The only faction that's really a match for Ostheer are the Soviets because of Penals and the Scout Car plus the flamethrower Combat Engineers.
USF has the worst early game of any faction and units cost way too much in comparison to OST.
Riflemen are good yes but you don't really have anything to support them with before teching to LT.
Rear Echeleons are for caping, and building fighting positions only, they do thing to support Riflemen beyond shooting grendades from fighting positions which isn't really useful when you're supposed to be advancing and capping early on.
The mortar is inaccurate and not very leathal unlike the laser guided OST mortar.
Ambulance...I don't even know why they bothered to make this a T0 unit. I've heard some idiots try to use it like a half-track to reinforce sqauds in combat but you're just asking for it to get blown up and losing it early on its gg.
Brits? LOL they'll just pin your crap Infantry Sections, faust your UC in two shots or just machine gun it. At least with USF you can smoke MGs with the mortar but with UKF you don't have shit.

Thread title don't even make sense. |
Well you're getting what you want because USF isn't really getting any buffs this patch. I'd hardly call the almost unnoticeable change to a lame side tech a buff. |
He isn't, I've played vs him before.
I don't remember ever playing you. Not saying I didn't but I don't recall. |
Why do you play a faction you hate so much?
I don't hate it. Just because it's the most challenging doesn't mean I hate it. |
