UKF/USF can even repair their building at no cost if they lose them. In addition hezter/ostwind are specialized unit and not main battle tanks that can fulfill all roles. The T4 requirement for premium mediums is fine and I guess one could redesign the KV-8 and leave it out of the T4 building. C. Panther follow the super heavy designed and should require the T4 to be on map as other Super heavies do not require the T4 to be on map. (I can usually tell one someone is asking and genuine question and when one is simply trolling) I aint trolling if you think i am you are wrong this time. I was just suprised esp about the ostwind. But i put it in the med calllin catagory. I understand the reasoning behind it now. In: Lobby

The Tiger should be fixed in timing, cost and power and then it should be available even without the building. I am curious. How do you come to the idea of excempting the ostwind c panther and hetzer from t4 being destroyed to be called in? Isent it and imo it is netter to ty callins to tech. The kv1 t34 85 need the structure to be up. So do most medium callins to my knowlidge. So again why units such as you mentioned woudnt need to in your opninion. Thread: Tank Destroyer Poll4 Feb 2020, 18:41 PM Ost suffers from the fact that okw armour start with vet2 armour bonus ost needs to aquire via vet. And allied td's being balanced to them. Until vet 2 ost armour is quite vunerable because of this ofcourse. Okw armour before td buffs just bullied allied armour and td,s and inf from the moment they hit the field as a result. The king tiger was the nail in the coffin. Ost armour can get some breathing room imo if we nerf pen or pen buffs via vet, okw needs to follow suit in some way. Right now they are p4 and p5 2.0 in every aspect. For a bit more cost they excel in nearly every area of the ost p4 and p5. Give ost armour something they do better then okw,s armour. Or tone down some of okw armours aspects they share with ost. Accordingly tone down the td's pen. In: COH2 Balance

Cus ost infantry are totally taken out of the fight when they are healing. Sure the 251's dps out put is a lot better than the m5, but infantry still would be able to contribute. Also cons have merger you can just keep a con squad in fully healed being able to shoot, come out merge and go back in and heal. make it an expensive upgrade. same as the quad at 100 muni. this also eliminates the open top firing posistions on the m5. and make a slow out of combat heal just like the 251. maybe limit it to 1 squad cuz of merge if its to effective that way. there m5 plus passangers cant contribute to the fight and soviets dont have to go to base all the time to slowly heal. 1 squad can slowly heal on the front. Also the airborne troops commander provides a forward reinforcement point with aura based healing supply drops. Where the hell is having advantage in one sector being offset by disadvantage in another spear going. I dont see why thats relevant here. All the stuff you mention is doctrinal. Sov have the largest squads but have no ai upgrades or nades nond doc for that readon imo. Ost has panzer smoke healing and even a repair station in docs. Next to their 3 ways of healing ai upgrades and nades non doc. The fact that they repair longer is because theit t4 vehicles have more hp. Peraonaly i would put an upgrade on the medics at t4 to go up to 6 medics for 250mp. Its not that soviets float mp so it should no be a no brainer that way. It already has been buffed with things ost didnt need. The flametrack will become to good. It also benegitss from pzr tct wich helps it survive. Also why should it be tougher the other halftracks actualy? The stug g idea is interesting. I personaly would only allow it to turn when orderd to like an at gun or mg. By making it an ability. Yet somehow allies have so much vision options, and some even uncounterable? And it is allies that have long range arty and 60td as stock units. Why the exemption and now ukf buff? No its not unfair. Spottings scopes on the 222 scaled with the 222 to absurd ranges. On top of pio,s getting extra sight range for squat. The okw xray machine revealing anything in range. Non doc cloaked units of okw can give vital intel without being spotted. And scopes on a units with snare is quite strong. Ost smoke strafe plane gives vision from where it flies while the marked target plane for sov doesnt. The jadgpanzr 4 stuka zu fub and pwerfer disagree with you on axis not having 60 range td,s and long range arty. By my account they are stock units. Ow and axis esp okw have much higher armour levels stock. So allied td,s should be able to fight them stock. Having 300 armour stock readely available will in turn warrent focus on td,s on the allied side. Not that allied td are not overtuned but kt goes hand in hand with them. Now with that said. I can see the smoke drop plus sight range increase to be a bit to strong. Esp next moving acc from 0.3 to 0.5. A slight toning down seems in order imo. In: Lobby

For an equivalent fuel expenditure: Lighter TDs win against medium armour and lose against heavy armour. Heavier TDs win against medium armour more slowly and win against heavy armour. Why would you risk going for a medium TD build when the opponent can go for a heavy tank and render them ineffective? An example of a light TD done well is the Puma. It's indisputably a light TD: it specialises against vehicles worth 100 FU and less, and you'd never think of the Puma when deciding what to build against an IS-2. But an IS-2's worth of Pumas does beat an IS-2. How? It's fast enough to close in on the IS-2. Its smoke canisters allow it to survive fairly well against an IS-2. It has a powerful veterancy ability it can use to stun single targets. It has a close-range penetration spike that allows a group to out-DPS an IS-2 at point blank range. If light TDs are to be truly viable in the era of heavy tanks, they all need what the Puma's got: utility abilities that are good at controlling a single target, and more importantly close range penetration spikes. They shouldn't be better than their heavier counterparts, but they should win in numbers. Otherwise why risk building a tank destroyer that loses to a generalist? But a unit as fragile as a su76 needing to close in to heavy tanks is just trowing it away. Its got no turret low health. The stug wont fare better. Let alone them flanking without a turret is pretty hard to pull of. The twp can control a heavy somewhat. Extra sight with tracking can help secure a kill even on a heavy. Imo they already have something that can be off effect vs heavies. In: COH2 Balance

You'd need to be fighting lots of mediums, and in USF case many will just skip that and go for Jackson I know thats why i thought to put it at vet 1.
