Don't all sweeper upgrades up the repair speed of all engineers now?
Rear echelons don't seem to get a repair speed buff when equipped with sweepers ( testet with Cheat Commands mod ) . Don't know about the rest

The idea that the Jackson needed ANY nerfing is so laughable. It only serves ONE task, how dare it be good at that. If it were a good against infantry like the Panther, King Tiger, Panzer IV, Jagtiger, Elefant, I could see how it might be a problem and need a nerf but it's not

I don't play this version of EZ mode very often because it's so boringly simple. But it is funny to see the Axis circle jerk with people complaining that the one faction with every crutch in the book is some how underpowered lol.

The repair station is not mobile and should not be placed on the front so you first will have to move your tank across half the map ( which will take some time , especially with crippled engine) Also when you went T1 you first gotta spend another 75 fuel
Only the Panther really has a decent chance to bounce AT gun shots. And of course OKW tanks can bounce most non TD non doc tanks allies field. What do you expect? To pay 50 fuel less for a tank and to still be able to penetrate the enemy tank with ease?
The Comet isn't the only exception. There are the Churchill tanks that will get bounces too. ( and it is not like other allied non doc tanks will get no bounces at all ) Also it must be notet that allies also have access to doctrinal tanks which also will get a decent amount of bounces.
And the allies have access to the Jackson, Su 85 and the Firefly. Three non doc tanks that can cause quite some problems to the "toughest tanks" In: COH2 Balance |

You want Both ? But must trade off By remove Minesweeper Repair Bonus ok ? OKW is already in a worse situation than allied factions when it comes to repairing. USF can make their crew repair the tank, Soviets get cheap pioneers and can get doctrinal repair stations, crew repair and repair ability on conscripts, UKF can also get Doctrinal crew Repair and can make their Pioneers repair almost as fast as OKW pioneers. OKW gets repair on mech HQ and the repair ability on the Sturmtiger commander. Better than nothing of course, but the Increased repair speed when getting sweepers is still neeeded. And Royal engineers also don't lose their extra repair speed they get with the Vickers Upgrade when being equipped with Piats as far as I know. In: COH2 Balance |

UKF and USF Pioneers can also equipped with Sweepers and Bazookas, so why shouldn't Sturmpioneers be able to be equipped with a Panzerschreck after upgrading them with Sweepers ? At the moment Panzerschreck on Sturmpioneers is a rare sight anyways, because you usually get a minesweeper. It wouldn't be even a OP combination ( in my opinion ) , as one single Panzerschreck is ... mediocre at best anyways and also takes 1/4 of the units AI DPS. And since the Sweeper also takes 1/4 again when being equipped it would mean that this unit would basically lose its AI capability in order to perform more as a Support unit. In: COH2 Balance |

7. Royal Engineers HEAT Grenade Ability: Requires the squad to be equipped with any AT weapon or Company Command Post constructed. I must emphasize the ANY AT weapon, includes PTRS-41 AT Rifles, Panzerchrecks, Bazookas, PIATs, etc. Bad idea imo. Things are fine as they are now with UKF Pios. Since they are the only non doc option to cripple a vehicle's engine I don't really see a need to make it harder for them to access this ability. This would basically result in your infantry either getting harassed by LVs in earlygame or having to tech PIATs and getting them on Pios, which takes some time and ressources.
Complaining about 4 rank players and people who do not even know how units look like anymore, while having no rank at all and no game for the last 30 days + is peak irony and hypocrisy for me. In: COH2 Balance |

I think i'm in the minority on seeing it get nerfs on direct performance rather than late game utility ones. This would imo also be the best Option. It is not OP in earlygame because it has mark the target or artillery , but because it has stuff like a very powerful gun, the ability to cap points / carry troops and still comes at a very low cost In: COH2 Balance |

Just because you never saw it being used it doesn't mean that it doesn't get used. It can be a powerful tool especially when combined with the 76 mm Sherman or the Jackson. Also I did not state that this ability is a problem. I just stated that besides the arty barrage there are also other reasons for building one late game In: COH2 Balance |

I know im not really that good myself, but as UKF I never ever get a HMG in early game. Just get another Section and keep them in cover. This works quite often quite good to prevent getting overrun. Ofc this doesnt work all the time, but it works better for me than getting a HMG Also I wouldn't say that emplacements suck in general. ( once again stating that im not a top player ) In team games and even in 1 vs 1 I had a lot of situations where I prevented an OKW player from overrunning me / us by placing a Bofor. I would advice you to try this. Also remember the Indirect fire mode of the Bofor. Will prevent your Bofor from getting killed by a raketen. In: COH2 Gameplay |
