The CheatMod is my go to answer for these questions but it still doesnt help if you do not know the secret stuff like IS are better in cover.

Is there a pinned list that could be updated that would let new players how to play each unit. Could be cheat sheet style:
UnitX - Rifles, good long range, decent armor, Fight better in cover.
TankX - Anti-Tank gun, Bad infantry performance, good distance

I am not sure how well a list of stats would help brand new players.

I respectfully disagree. It was the deep snow mechanic which I disliked. Blizzards could be dealt with. BTW, I accept all cold tech made the 1v1 game less e-sports friendly

But if the deep snow were turned into ice, as it is now, does the Blizzard mechanic still remain lame? (I had not realised OKW got the deep snow manouevarability advantage you mention).

The deep snow mechanic is cool and a decent idea. But slowing your units to a crawl = dead units since you cannot easily discern where the deep snow is. It is also a problem for inexperienced mappers because they put heavy snow in well traveled areas I think RHZEV winter(worst map in the game) still has heavy snow in well traveled places .

Blizzards kill your FPS and make Esports boring. But is really cool for the single player or AI experience.

I keep leaning towards slight mods to the Automatch portion of the game. It should be split into:
MODE 1: Campaign+AI fights
- More maps to play on. Not necessarily balanced but more fun oriented.
- Blizzards, deep snow, etc
- Could add stuff like:
-- A) Vehicles speed changes.
-- B) Vehicles take damage from hitting things.
-- C) Vehicles could use fuel to move.
-- D) etc

MODE 2: Automatch
- Reduced RNG.
- Reduced map list.
- Reduced call in garbage like planes that kill everything and require no micro.

I fear what COH3 will be because they tried to make COH2 bigger and better than COH1. And instead turned into stupid no skill slaughterfests. Too many units are all OP or require little skill. I would like to see it get back to being a little more even balanced and have more meaningful engagements. Not I upgraded my blob so now it mows down units so fast if there is any lag at all the users micro will still not save the unit. Lets get back to what made COH1 fun.

LUNATIC THOUGHTS:
It seems odd that they would build a new building if they plan on closing it down. Unless the city is giving them incentives to use the building. Sometimes a city will give you the building cheap or not get tax revenue for a few years as incentive.

Every place you work at will have someone complaining about something. If the bosses are on you "the place sucks they are jerks". If they let you do your job and dont bother you then "they are not professional."

But as I have said 100 times before:
"I think the biggest issue with our current leadership team is that we may have the wrong people in key decision making roles when it comes to the game's direction."
Someone at Relic is high up and somewhat incompetent. Maybe they are really cool so everyone goes along with their dumb ideas and tries to implement them as best they can.

If the raise you got sucked, it could be you. Hard to work with, cant program, draws wieners on everything, etc. Or its because DOW III tanked?

AOE4 is going to take a long time to make. I do not expect to hear anything about it for at least 18-24 months?

Oh and I love how they ask the person to speak up so they can fire his ass.

Yes. Hans is back. So now we will only receive half the bad RNG we used to. Hans, our savior will take the rest

If somebody is interested, here is my buildorder:

1. Volks
2. Volks
3. Volks
4. Volks (I noticed that you absolutely need 4 squads as with 3 you're getting busted against allied inf hordes)
5. Get a sWS truck (If you get every Volks squad the second you reach 250MP, you should be able to cue the sWS before the last Volks is even finished)
6. Medic HQ in base or VERY defensive
7. Raketenwerfer
8. Flak HT (This is the most important unit in the whole build)

Although I play 4v4 my build is nearly identical to this. Which is the biggest gripe people have with playing OKW. Its boring cause you need the same build everytime. One change is if my team mate is OKW I make more volks or an early rak if he is making a med truck lose by. To stay offensive as long as I can.

The Flak HT is the integral piece. It gains/defends territory early and its anit-air helps late game. Had Vet 5 on Port of Hamburg from downing planes.

Once tanks come out, I usually make 2 pios and give them zooks. They can repair tanks and also push away anyone who is diving for your weak tank. Then I make an artillery piece while they are not repairing.
