You cant blame Relic for wanting a piece of the console pie. Blame Microsoft for slow and weak DirectX/OpenGL support and the ensuing graphics quality arms race. If PC gaming was more reliable ages ago, consoles would not even exist now. Most gamers have no idea what makes a good videocard. Execution units, pipelines, cache, DDRx, bus bandwidth, etc are all arcane specifications most will never care to learn. Nor should they have to just to play a game.

However, I cant believe they have not made a top down mobile version of COH. Stripped down to bare essentials for some quick RTS action on the go. I have been kicking it around since I have most of written already :thinking:

And there is such a huge number of these problematic people there, that banning only 10 would barely make any difference. And giving more bans is impossible since it would be too helpful for finding a match with a carrier.

I think you have a good idea. Limit the number of bans to 5 or 10. It would also make the GUI interface easy for Relic to make. I would probably only ban 3-5 people and I play everyday with noobs in ELO hell. But certain names come up and immediately I say "Oh yeah, that is the asshat that starts fights every match." I wont name names here since that seems not cool by site standards. Although this is almost always premade teams. If they start losing they gang up on the non team member for some troll fun.

I do not think it would change your rank much since game 1 is rank 5000 player, game 2 is rank 100....

I only play 4v4s but agree with Troyd as always. The Flak Half Track is the best thing you can make now. I use it as a mobile Bofors pit. As Troyd said it needs sight or it can get rekt, especially Oorah con blobs. So I use attack ground a lot now to get it pinning units before they get within sight range. And it shoots thru some things like fences. Put it behind an object and attack ground murder stuff on the other side. Maybe even some Volks around it for sight/added attack and to faust the T70 so it cant chase your weak HT. But it is an investment so losing it will be very bad.

The AI is nothing more than a cheat machine.
1) They have increased resources as suggested. So be prepared for vehicles way before you get one even though you have both fuels.
2) They automatically counter your build. If you make unit A they will make unit B to counter.
3) Since they know where you click they will send that counter to the spot you clicked. So always click your moves at about twice the distance you really wish to go. Then the AI will put their units there instead. Or at least move many short distances.
4) The AI appear to be programmed to give you a decent fight for 30 - 40 minutes. After that they start doing stupid things. Maybe your army is too big to counter at that point?
5) If you have AI on your team they will play the opposite of your play. If you are doing good, they will play like crap. And vice versa. Again it feels as though they are trying to make your match last a certain time period.
6) In COH2 the AI will always try to block your vehicles. They are maybe trying to support you but instead they drive right behind your tanks so they get stuck and get rekt.
7) In COH1 your AI team will always mortar your stuff on purpose.
8) In COH2 the AI will never touch an open team weapon until you bring a unit up to retrieve it. Then the AI will steal it and retreat it to some retarded location on the map.
9) The countering AI makes it hard to learn sniper play because the cheaters make a vehicle and ghost your sniper when its made.
10) As stated they have NO FOG OF WAR so the little cockroaches will be sneaking around your sight objects and flanking you at all times. Thus the only good AI maps are narrow bridge maps.

You can learn from the AI play in that their units do not stay in a certain spot for more than a few seconds so they can not be mortared. They also tend to dodge grenades in higher difficulty.
