That's extremely strange then, especially considering your rank and the (seemingly) current preference for OKW over OST. I will admit, it's not so popular that every player builds one in every game, but there's usually at least one in a 4v4 game, from my experience (top ~150 4v4 random teams).

Yeah pfusies are clearly underpowered. 6 man squad with flares, AT nade, HE nade that is still bugged and has no callout, super high moving accuracy, weapons that are good at all ranges, and an optional AT package is clearly just not enough. They need to start the game with stgs. |

Shit's broken. Stupid mechanic that got nerfed out of existence when it was on brits and it cost 1600% of the fuel that the IRHT costs. Breaks sniper, commando, partisan, and team weapon play. That's all.

It should at the very least have only 160HP and be realistically killable, it shouldn't work through shotblockers at all, it's IR, not X-ray vision, and it should cost more than 5 fuel. You literally get 5 fuel back from salvaging the thing and break even with it.
IMO the maphack mechanic is stupid and contradictory to the game anyway. It shuts down any camo'd units and takes absolutely zero effort for basically free recon the entire game. It should be completely removed just like it was for brits (except for brits it cost 80 fuel and was doctrinal). I'd give it minimap detection only instead, which is still super strong and more than you should get for doing literally nothing. I don't know what else you could do to it to make it not batshit, braindead OP, but also not useless. |
The balance team wanted to make them more reliable but less able to randomly wipe. They didn't achieve this at all, now they wipe even more while still being very RNG depended. It's still very hit or miss especially with the KT.
Locking them behind T4 was the right choice. But the CP requirements need to go up 2 CP. Right now they arrive too early.
The IS2 has too much armour, it needs to go down to around 330 IMO. Right now it's too hard to penetrate even for Tigers, Panthers and Kingtigers. JP4 is basically useless against it unless you have good RNG.
I think the heavy tank AOE profiles need to be slightly reduced for all heavies apart from the KT, which is still not that great overall IMO.
OKW meta is so boring now because Grand Offensive is the only viable doctrine in 1v1 and 2v2. Then again all their other doctrines are mediocre so it's not just a Grand Offensive problem. And even Grand Offensive is just good because of the Tiger.

Luftwaffe is good as okw too though. 2cp elite infantry that are good at all ranges with camo plz. And whatever commander you go you can still get KT so that's not really a factor. |
I'd rather just see this upgrade give conscripts more PPSh-41s rather than the three they get now. Soviets had entire battalions equipped with just SMGs. It's strange this isn't represented at all by this upgrade.

I mean they can't even counter regular mortars, so I'd honestly just stick to those. No fuel cost and less risky because a good AEC dive could definitely take out an out-of-position mortar HT, but barring a pretty large mistake or god commando play you shouldn't ever be losing a normal mortar to brits. They simply don't have enough aggressive options to push that fast. |
