Better performance against heavies, even at Vet0, worse against mediums and Pumas This, actually. Usf has plenty of good high DPS low pen AT options (zooks, M1), so jackson could be the heavy counter. The only issue with that is the fact that they'd get dumpstered by panthers for lack of enough DPS since the panther is almost as fast. In: COH2 Balance

They definitely feel like a potent unit but they're not OP or anything and it's not like they can beat more expensive allied CQC elites (for good reason) in a straight fight, so allies have plenty of counters. Many people would rather have an extra infantry squad or have that bit extra space to pull out a tank, To say its a no-brainer is simply untrue. So please stop exaggerating. The issue with the unit is cheese and the bug that can occur which can be game breaking if it occurs, i myself have said this unit needs to be redesigned and not what people like you want, which is anything you dislike on axis side is to be nerfed out of the fkin game. I don't know, man. Why don't people build it? It's like 5 pop, that's stupid low for a permanent maphack. The amount of information you get from it is sooo worth a (ost) pio squad or a kubel. There's not even a real infantry squad that's 5 pop, so it shouldn't make a ton of difference for your pop anyway, and gives way more than it takes up. In: COH2 Balance

But let's not forget that Osth is dependant on the Tiger crutch to even be able to compete lategame. A heavy nerf would have to be combined with a T4 buff for Ost. In general I feel like allied heavies are way more survivable than the German ones. That is due to allied heavies having more rear armor through the bank and allied tds having more pen. This issue shouldn't be ignored. Ah yes the incredibly OP heavy rear armor. In: COH2 Balance

The unit isn't OP, its just cheesy and im all in for removing cheese as long as changes are reasonable and OKW has maintained some sort of recon. How is permanent, 0-input-required maphacks "situational"? Especially in teamgames, it's a no-brainer. It's so cheap it hardly even affects your build order and the benefits it gives are stupidly powerful at any decent level of play. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: 82mm vs 120mm Mortar against Flak HQ14 Jan 2020, 05:47 AM 120mm does have noticeably better range though doesn't it? Gives a little more options for killing whatever static target you're firing on, but at the cost of being slower to do so I guess. Like, if I don't have a stuka as OKW I don't know how to counter 120mms besides pushing them off the field with an actual push. In: COH2 Gameplay
