B4 is one of a few team weapons in the game that can be destroyed before killing the crew first (or at least it was like that last time I checked). All you need to do is use the attack command directly on the gun. If the weapon is destroyed the crew dies instantly and the gun is pretty easy to hit. That means you can sneak up or rush with a tank destroyer to kill it. If opponent doesn't expect the attack or just did a full retreat, a single puma is enough to take it down. You can also use stug, jp4 or any other medium tank you have.
Mattress (IIRC as of the latest patch) and other stationary howitzers can also be killed this way. Pretty much any offmap stronger than ost's light 7.8cm barrage combined with recon can counter them really easily as well. |
Well to be fair, some of Brit off maps like Bombing Run(90% health trucks in one go), Typhoon Loiter(targets inf and tanks with ridiculous damage) and pinpoint Howitzer Barrage are pretty damn too good.
Brit grenades and AEC are LUL however. Must have left an pioneer to an AEC for 1 min.
Oh right, the bombing run is pretty opieop against okw trucks, and uncounterable, but typhoons get shot down pretty fast, especially by okw (ost has their pintle 42s too) and railway arty is basically the same as the pinpoint howitzer (if you are referring to the one in special weapons). Then there's Stuka db, which is way better than both, even with the EFA revamp changes. Worth mentioning that AEC can't hit the broadside of a barn on the move (it literally misses buildings sometimes) as well. |
I'd be down. FRPs are getting removed though, and like you said, fuel costs will need to be adjusted. |

UKF = after Company command post
Soviet and Wehr = increse a little bit reinforce radius from their truck (M5/sdkfz 251)

There's nothing to say that they won't balance the other two factions within the mod like they did with okw. Whether or not relic releases it all at the same time is unknown, but there's no way to fix that. |
Forgive the lack of clarity. I meant to say that both Tommies and Osttruppen feel unique and fun to play, to me at least, which is nothing to do with their strength.
Well, the lack of snare still limits a lot your ability to actually kill vehicles, rather than just scare them off, but yeah I see your point.
Yeah still no substitute for a snare, but they can hit targets faster than a kt now, so that's a plus. |

I think that it can work, (Starcraft is pretty competitive) but it just means that you'll be deciding in advance that either 1s or 4s will not be balanced. Besides which, the way they have been doing it (strong allies early game, strong German late game) is really dumb. If Von Runstad had decided to turtle till KT lol, he'd be shooting Germany in the foot incredibly hard when all those units needed to fight the next soviet push were busy turtling next to the U.K./US.
Yeah but Starcraft is an entirely different game, almost like it's not even the same genre. Germans did have more wacky experimental/intimidating shit so I guess that's where the whole concept came from but it doesn't translate into gameplay very well, especially with teamgames and 1s as you said. |

When it bounced stug rounds more than once I was really confused.
Bouncing stugs? That's surprising, must be really bad rng. Stugs can usually penetrate all mediums pretty consistently and even pen advanced mediums like comets serviceably as well. That's coming from a guy who (when he actually plays ostheer, which is more often lately) (ab)uses stug spam as hard as possible. I had one time where my sherman with 40 health bounced 2 okw p4 shots at mid range too lol. |
