Why not turn it to a US panther with less survivability but still way cheaper then ?
I don't think ANYONE disagree with the fact that 76mm Sherman should become useful, but i don't really think ANYBODY can claim this is a good solution either, right ?
And what's Jackson's role, not to be a Panther?

Yea, Vikinger-mod is great and Olhausen makes great work. But for Vanilla most things can't be implemented. The engine and the game-style is simply to different, Vikinger-mod becomes a different game.
After concrete bunkers it is time to give Ostheer's tank-traps the dragon-tooth blueprint. ;D

That is exactly why its range was reduced.
After the nerf it can be incread again.
It could also block some units if you get the commander. Maybe King like commando-panther, or StuKa zu Fuß? |
Buff Sturmtiger's range, maybe? Not much, 5 is enough to perform better, because of fog of war benefits. Also removing the close-combat grenade for smoke etc could be a option.
Edit: If a unit should be able to heal, then 223 in hull-down should have the ability. Maybe also the option to be a retreat point could work.
Overwork the hull-down for it e. g.
- increase hp
- overworked defensive structures
- one Medic |
I am still no fan of 250's MG, 251 would fit roul better. By removing the MGs, gunner and closing the netting of standard 251 in T2. And by making better hull-down animation. |
Hate to break it to you Kurfürst but that type of halftrack has never in CoH2 history, ever provided reinforcement capabilities.

OSTHEER:
- Remove the MGs of normal Sdkfz 251 (noone will miss them, the vehicle is mainly used as refresh and flamer) and replace the 250 with the 251 with MGs.
That would look and feel better, also the blue-print of 251 has a MG-shield.
Edit: Better give 250 with Pgrens and Grens passive Vet for increased speed and quick repair.
Edit: Concrete Bunker are great, but the MG is bugged, also the pios. MG has insta suppression and Pios have wrong path-finding and don't stop the repair animation.
OKW:
- The medi-kits of 221 and 223 are kind of confusing, because Sturmpios can make them too, also without Vet. Remove it or replace it with something else, like a capture-mode. (223 should lose the ability) |
Candidate 1 is my favorit, large, difficult to place. This is perfetc for the Job. The sice is disadvantage if you don't use a map-building.
