Can you please give Vickers same stats as Maxim? It overperform so much and is spamed on mass. Vickers has too much DPS for a fraction which can build a Bren-Carrier with MG-upgrade, Centaur and Bofors. And last of them also overperform. Give Bofors same weapon-stats as Ostwind.
So, beside of that off-topic. I don't get the idea of new Ostheer revamp. They are both not good and fail hard.

German-Infantry:
-Why removing the artillery officer, if he would be the perfect tool for 5 men Pios and Grens? It would be the perfect support.
-How asked for the Sturmtruppen-revamp?
-The 250 is a nice idea, but it would be less pigheaded if you remove the MGs of 251 and give it the option for the MG42 upgrade by commander instead of 250+Gren, 250+PnzGren etc.
-German-Infantry would work better with a Penal-equivalent instead of Sturmtruppe. 4-men tank-hunter squad with 2 Panzerbüchse and an AT-bomb.
-The 5men ability is working awkward. Make it like UK-5men option and make it without this upgrade for every squad. Why removing the LMG42 upgrade?

Community-defense-Commander:
-The concrete bunkers are a nice idea, also the repair-one. But I don't understand, why you guys made it so complicated? Only because of the blue-print for the concrete one? It would be easier, if you use the normal dirt-bunker for the repair-building instead. Set the build-animater for dirt-bunker to e.g. 0,8 so it spawn without roof. If medic-bunker it spawns the roof+red-cross. If refresh-bunker it spawns the roof+base-logo. If MG-bunker it stays without roof but with MG. If repair-bunker it spawns with the normal roof and some fuel-barrels etc.
...the concrete-bunker stays like it is now, only with MG. But why not give tank-blockers the blue-print of concrete-dragon-teeth?
-I like the idea of StuG E in that commander, but why not remove the PaK88 instead for hull-down? So StuG E gets range-bonus and Osttruppen get some artillery support too. Over all I think hull-down works better than 88.

-KV8. I would like to see the hole AT-gun removed. Let it be a flame-tank only.
-Sturmtiger is also pigheaded. But you all know that...
-Ostheer-flame-grandes of 250-mortar and the bombing-run have so bad stats... never saw someone using it since it got nerfed some years ago.
-US M8A1 Howitzer Motor Carriage also overperform. Why not giv it stats of StuG E. It is a nerf in the right way.
-Remove the critical-hit of StuG E.

Maybe this is just my experience of the game, but I still do not see the point in the KV-8, it is economically unprofitable, I would prefer to wait a bit and buy Katyusha + SU-85 - this will be more effective.
There are units which only perform well on some maps and KV8 is one of them. The hole AT ability is useless, better remove the hole function. You say it arrives late? So what is with StuG E? That thing arrives late. And yes, Katyusha + SU85 is better in most situations, but KV8 has the power to win a game in some sec because of broken flame-performance. And if that piece of shit can now counter StuGs...
I am sorry, but for me the patch makes some things even worse. E.g. Ost Def-Commander, waisted potential. Same for German-Infantry. And whats the semce behind 250 with MG? Ones again, a sad time for CoH. |
If KV8 really gets that hard buff, the Commando-Panzer 4 should perform like sherman with high-explosive.
And german incendiary bombs and mortar shells should get a buff too! With 45mun one mortar shell should perform like one grenade of soviet fire-bomb-ability. And the incendiary-bombing-run of Ostheer should also perform like that ability. They are absolutely useless.
Edit: Is that a bug, or why you need to upgrade the repair-bunker? Nonsense.
Edit: Why not change the G43 upgrade? Rename it to e. g. weapon-upgrade and: Grens still get 2xG43, Pnzgrens get 1xLMG34 of Obersoldaten. Sturmtruppen get 4xG43 and Pioneers get the option for 4xK98k to become a long-range unit. |
And we all know that this Stiger had the same range like a normal tank and mg.
Its range was over 5 kilometers, or 3 miles. So, way more range than a normal tank.
KV8 is overperforming, it should never pen a Panzer 4 over 20 range. Also the flamer is way too strong. For that armor and hp it is way too good. |

I really dislike the new Sdkfz 250. I don't get it why you don't removed the MGs of Sdkfz 251 instead and made them an upgrade. The two commanders could simply get something else, like mortar verhicle instead of 250+Gren and smoke instead of 250+Pnzgren.
I would make the Sdkfz. 250 mortar only.
Edit: And for German-Infantry-Commander give M24 shock-grenades instead of Sdkfz. 250. |
German community-defence would be better with hull-down instead of the 88. Also the StuG E would benefit by range-bonus in stationary position.

I see people dont get sarcasm at all. If you seriously even for a second thought B4-Sturmtiger idea is good you're either trolling or simply dont understand there would be no counter to it and it would game unplayable for allies
The kurrent Sturmtiger also is way worse than B4, which still one-shot everything under Panther niveau. And Sturmtiger doesn't insta-kill blobbs anymore, some damage, some suppression. 60% survive.
Sturmtiger can't be moved while reloading (kurrent only at Vet5) and if it locks e.g. StuKa zu Fuß you also get a handy-cap. Also it doesn't need that much range as a Priest or B4. 80 are ok, e.g. leIG has 100. |
So your idea was to turn Sturmtiger into high armor/hp tank that can fire squad wiping missiles without any warning from safe distance without any sort of indirect/offmap counters to stop it from doing it again and again?
Everything can be balanaced. Less speed, longer reload, less accuracy. It can lock the King-Tiger or the Stuka zu Fuß. |

There is an option to fix it, that is what I called playing around. Its a workaround, make the normal trench invisible and putting the CoH1 over it. So it looks like it works. xD They made it in All-Units-Mod. |
