Yes you are wrong. I genuinely don't understand how you think that 1 map is somehow comparable to our mod, that was made for two entirely different purposes. Outside of that we are still testing, we have to work around the new commanders being released soon. Would you put a brand new map you have never tested into rotation?

Originally this mod was meant to release with the Winter Season of SMC, but because of delays and lack of access to full mod tools and time, it was delayed.
Yes. 4 seasons, new maps each season, grand-finals in December.
The term "breathe life" into SMC was to make it what I always wanted SMC to be, a showcase of modders and mappers, the most ignored and put down group in this community, and we were finally able to do that, despite not launching on time due to how many issues came with making the mod.
Referees were not asked about what was going on for the most part, despite being part of SMC as a Team. This was mainly due to not really ever seeing them active in this last season, which is partly on me, due to not trying to contact them constantly to help out every month and still keeping it largely under-wraps.
SMC will be a "brand", and that was always its destination, it will also cover more than just CoH 2 in the future. The plans are already in place, legally we are just tidying a few things up before hand, but it has always been stated that it will cover more than just CoH 2.
The dynamic commander mod is in a tourney of its own (two technically), but they are played on SMC maps, for a "two birds with one stone" effect, both maps and mod need tested, and both are created by us. If you mean something different to that, there are no plans to have that done as it is a "period of exclusivity" for multiple reasons as stated above, but I will reiterate them here: Testing (plenty of issues with lack of full mod tools), patching and balancing (new commanders = new abilities that we will have to work on including and getting to function properly), and the fact that we wanted this to be run in tangent with SMC from the get go.
Now for a general response:
Now with all of the above being said, due to us not charging for access, we will still be giving people access as time goes on to select individuals. I have said on stream multiple times, that the sheer feedback we would receive by making this public would be astronomical, and we would miss a lot of it, which is something we don't want to happen. On top of that a lot of the bugs that would be reported would be reported wrongly, causing us to go on wild goose chases for bugs we can't replicate due to them being reported wrong and potentially leading us to find fixes for things that aren't there, and in turn cause more bugs/issues. Currently a small focus group is the best way to go, and we plan to include more people with each passing season, the deal being that of course it stays exclusive to SMC, the mod isn't streamed anywhere but on SMC official channels, or put up on youtube. This is again for exclusivity reasons, why would we give this away to every one else, when we ourselves get nothing for it? We didn't even hit our funding goal for the first season of SMC, so right now this is serving as hopefully something for the community to rally behind content wise, as SMC before the mod was a huge endeavor, now even more so. In the FAQ it states that we don't plan to release it fully "ever", which I have updated, this was just a mistake on my end simply due to the insane sprint that I have been on the last two weeks trying to prepare for SMC Spring, I would like to think that we will have the mod and all fixable bugs ironed out by the time the Grand Finals hit for SMC, and we
could make it public then, but no guarantees on this, it really is and ultimately, will be up to the SMC team. As stated, we have full support from Relic to never make this public if we choose to do so.
