The rest will need getting used but the tech change does not address any of the problems the US had. Early rifles are still as cost-ineffective as they ever were. Ambulance is still as unpractical as it ever was. Early M2 seems nice against OST but useless against OKW. All in all, some 8 games in and the great USF question still remains - what is going to be done about Volksgrenadiers? In: COH2 Gameplay

This way USF can field infantry as fast as OKW can in the early game, while their scaling costs/timing remains the same as it is now. Lowering the MP cost of their upgrades can be the way. If you build 5 Rifles / ISs throughout the game, their cost effectively becomes 340MP (380 in case of ISs) per unit to stay competitive and obtaining abilities that are not noticeable better than those that other infantry get for free. You should be able to put a lot of pressure on a lone 222 with the aec to put it out of commission for quite a while hence the pios and the 222 will be off the field for a long time. The AEC is already dirt cheap and making it cheaper would simply make Brits immune to all LV. When the second 222 comes out you simply need to use the AEC defensively and max range snipe the 222s. Remember you're using a 240mp unit to hold off 400mp (equal fuel) and less repairs for the AEC. May I ask about your 1v1 Brits rank? In: COH2 Balance
Thread: USF infantry upgrade24 Jul 2018, 09:10 AM I think the issue with rifles vs. volks is volks' ability to build sandbags. Sandbags should be moved onto sturms so volks are not so goddamn versatile. Everyone spams volks so there are always sandbags on every point there is. With sturms, this would have been a little more difficult. In: COH2 Balance
