I tried pannzer commander upgrade for KT and wasn´t impressed. What do you mean?

The only thing that I can complain about this doc is panzer commander upgrade is so good for KT that I will always build a KT. But sturmtiger will be disabled. |
I'm willing to accept there's an element of L2P in why JLI can face-roll me more often than not, but there have been multiple (4+) occasions where an HMG on a single squad (and in one case 2 HMGs) were getting models dropped before the damn things got suppressed. I do mean models, too, not just 1. And for some HMGs that just means death loop.
I think it might be the HP threshold for the sniper effect.
I do not know what the threshold is set to, but it seems to be a very easy for them to snipe -- much more so than for pathfinders, even with a BAR.
Dunno, I am not one to scream for nerfs so fast after a patch so I'm not actively calling for changes, though it is uncanny seeing them in so many games and repeatedly seeing the same pattern of HMG losing to it.

I understand, but the problem is OKW do not have a designated AI armor piece lategame or alternatively a generalst who can survive for long periods of time. Making the KT into another AT platform where OKW already have a designated TD and a premium brawler panther. They don't need more AT.
I think this is a problem related to OKW's faction design, they are more specialized than other factions. Their infantry is excellent at AI jobs and their armor is excellent at AT jobs. Since Raketen sucks at lategame, OKW's armor need to do all AT jobs.
Just leave the AI jobs to your Ost teammate's brummbar.

How is that any different than OST?
Since KT already has better AT ability than Allies' heaviest (IS2, Pershing), I don't think we need to improve its AI ability.
I would prefer better turrent rotation.

I agree that OKW has no good anti infantry vehicle option lategame. The Panzer IV is good at that but lacks the staying power to do this in the very lategame.
Usually the games I lose as OKW are the ones where I don't go for the 105mm since it is increasingly hard to deal with infantry.
The KT should be a little bit more effective against infantry. Not the oneshotting whole squads that it used to be but it should be better than now (so that you can depend on it killing 2-3 models with each shot).
2-3 models will be too lethal against brits. |

Please apply your logic to the T1 Soviet scout car that's been spoiling the early game balance since the first damn day. Scout car comes earlier but unlike with sovs, we're not going to be seeing hundreds of replays of the 221 roflstomping squads on retreat.
Flamer scout car has always been a mistake. Katitof, please drop your bias. If the 221 doesn't need to be too good when it comes at 30 fuel, the soviet scout car needs a goddamn good looking at. How many tourney games were we forced to watch that cheese? And you were silent, Katitof. L2Speak for balance, not bias.

I'd say keep complaining and 221 will be removed and only 223 at 320/30 will be for purchase once HQ truck is placed.
Are you implying that M5 should come out with forced AA upgrade? |
