Why you dont write about it ? Because the balance team have said their intentions are to balance things relative to Wehr as the gold standard and this is about Hard AT, not tanks. AND OKW tanks cost more than others tanks. Finally, the costs to get to Schwerer for OKW are pretty similar to costs of getting to Mechanized Co. as Sov. In fact if you go T2 as OKW instead of Battlegroup it costs 25 more fuel for OKW than it does for Soviets... Soviets start with 10 more fuel. In: COH2 Gameplay

To build both T1 and T2 for soviets is TWICE AS CHEAP in fuel as it is to research & build just T2 for wehr. There goes the argument for T1 needing hard AT. Boom. To put it another way: If you need Hard AT you pay LESS THAN the research cost for At nades to tech to T2. In: COH2 Gameplay

It's like you want to fix some pipes under your sink but you don't have right glue or tape, so you just wrap it with regular tape - bad fix. How long does it take to replace one ability in 2 doctrines? 2-3 minutes? How do you know M-42 is terrible? How often did you play with it? I did whole month in 1v1 / 2v2 with defensive doctrine and M-42 especially. M-42 and ZiS don't overlap even in slightest. Different units just like PPSH Cons don't overlap with Shocks. In the end you just theorycrafting without anything to back up. On the other hand I uploaded replays vs top AT where this crappy M-42 dealt 10k damage and more so it's not outclassed in late game like Penals with PTRS. To be more specific, Hard AT should not be in Anti-Infantry tier. That's lame design. Soviets already have hard AT in T2, 3 and 4. To use your plumbing analogy, it is like expecting to fix a leak with a woodworking kit. Just go to the shed to get the plumbing wrench. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Relic Winter Balance Preview v1.3 Update18 Dec 2016, 16:10 PM I feel similar to others here, that you guys have lost your way with some of this patch. Penals need to be unsophisticated Anti-Infantry only killaz. That's all! Just remove the vet accuracy insanity from the live game, and remove the flamers. If you want an upgrade, go for long range upgrade, but they don't need it. They are great as they are and work in synergy with call-ins. Giving T1 AT is unnecessary and reduces strategic decision making and risk balancing. Many people already keep a Con around when going Penals for the cheap reinforce 'n merge, and for the AT nades. That works enough until you tech. If you remove the deliberate individual weaknesses from each faction, (or in this case from only one faction) you destroy this game. In: COH2 Gameplay

Yes of course with 1v1 you only have yourself to blame, but I for one just find 2v2 more enjoyable. With 1v1 wins I don't really feel joy, I just feel relief of stress. With 2v2 quite often I feel actual fun happening somewhere in my brain. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Penalties for abusive /quit .7 Dec 2016, 03:13 AM Then there is the type of player who is so terrible that CPU would be better than him and you wish he would quit, but he doesn't. Then another type who, rather than quit, decide to tell the opponents he is going afk for the next 10 mins and to rape you while he is gone. So many types of dickheads in the randoms. It is probably most frustrating matchmaking system I've ever come across. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Relic Winter Balance Preview v1.1 Update6 Dec 2016, 23:03 PM Any idea of how to fix the longlasting bug where only one man of a squad arrives on the scene, or at a dropped weapon? He has to wait till the rest of his squad decide to set off and then arrive, in order to recrew. It seems completely random. And also you mentioned you would be looking at the bug that traps OKW infantry at the battlegroup retreat point. Will this be in scope for fixing? In: Lobby
