unless any stats have changed.
someone tested this and the panther won 1v1 against a comet 8 times out of ten.
Yes, they did. Unfortunately I can't find those videos to shutdown these ridiculous arguments about AI and AT capabilities of the comet vs panther. |
Max Speed
Panther 6.6 for both Panthers
Comet 6.9
Cromwell 7.0
M36 6.5
Sherman 6.4
In other words a panther has 0.2 speed more than Sherman and 0.1 more speed than M36 and in you are eyes that is significant advantage. A Comet has 3 times the speed advantage Panther has over M36 and that small advantage, the Cromwell has 4 times that advantage and 2 times the Panther has over M4A3 and again you think it will only work in theory.
Why continue arguing something when you know that your claim "haha, I don't think you can keep up with it or flank it unless enemy is AFK or just bad. " is mistaken?
You want to compare Panther with Comet and Cromwell?
I personally prefer the Comet over the Panther and I also think that Cromwell is one of the most cost efficient units...
Play numbers all you want. Show me that a cromwell/comet chasing a panther can win. good day to you sir. |
You made a claim that vehicles like the Cromwell and Comet can not keep up with a Panther. That claim was inaccurate because both unit are faster than the Panther and both unit have access to EWS that make them even faster than Panther.
I do not understand what you claim is now....
Fine on a NUMBER system, it will slowly catch up to the panther. Can you tell me if that unit will be alive or dead by the time that happens? EWS is only enabled with a further 200mp/50fuel upgrade which will be there for a comet but situational for when you get your cromwell. Again, prove YOUR point with a video that shows no blitz/no EWS, cromwell vs panther, comet vs panther being chased and winning the engagement. I will give my props to you. Otherwise, this debate is pointless. |
Both Cromwell and Comet mentioned have better speed than the Panther...Both Cromwell and Comet can keep up and flank a Panther....
lol assuming you catch them off guard again. i would like to see a panther and crom/comet face each other. obviously they have LoS so they can see and start the engagement. Start reversing panther front-facing and start chasing with crom/com. I can already tell the outcome of the engagement. Any questions? |
No I do not expect him to sit there, I expect him to move as I said. However it is apparent you are not interested in a civil conversation, rather you want to be insulting and arrogant. You shame yourself.
Joseph
I'm sorry you shame yourself Mr. sub-par 50% wins in all factions. I suggest watching more replays and less QQ and more pew pew. |
Even a beginner has ears to hear the stuka fire, all you have to do is move and it misses. As blobs move it is not effective.
which shows your degree of how to use the weapon. you know the land, you know the layout and positioning. he gets no flares to judge the vicinity of where the strike will be. You expect people to just sit there for any type of artillery to just land on them? do you not use chokepoints and infantry to bait them? apparently, not. You just want more autofire weapons that will do your job for you. anyways, i will stop replying to you now. please QQ more that no other weapons are viable. |
Actually t-34 doesn't have 100% to pen
And yes I tried, use m10 horde or Jackson + 2-3 Sherman and you will not lose any tank vs 1 Panther
And Cromwell and comet are Ferrari in disguise
Hey kiddo. He's being sarcastic.
What he really means is... have you tried flanking a panther? It's speed is good even with snare. Have you ever chased a panther in full reverse? haha, I don't think you can keep up with it or flank it unless enemy is AFK or just bad.
Also, why must you invest 3-4 tanks to counter 1? You know a good/decent player will have pak40 or shrek blob right behind it. Wipe, wipe, wipe. There goes your allied tanks. |
I play OKW often and of what you mentioned only the Lynx and Obers are decent blob solutions and they come late to the party. The rest have their uses but not as a blob counter, the faptrack needs to be rethought to fulfill that role.
because you don't know how to use IR halftrack and stuka. and every other OKW unit it seems. QQ more. I play more OKW than you yet my % is a lot different too. I wonder why. |
Has OP tried anything of the following;
Flame nades
Infiltration nades
Stuka
Luch
ST
Own blob
HMG34
LeiG
Obers
Flak HT
Retreating faster
I think OKW got the best blob counters apart from soviets who got demo charges.
No he has not. He's a team game hero like me and expects volks blobs to win every engagement and that's why the 50% w/l ratio |
The natural solution to early blobbing was the 20mm faptrack. However the boost to zook effectiveness, especially accuracy, has now made the 55 fuel faptrack a waste of resources. It is far too easy to kill for its cost.
The new solution would be to greatly reduce the fuel cost of the faptrack, leaving it still difficult to keep alive but making it much less a risky gambit to get early on, and you'll end up seeing them used more often to counter inf blobs.
I propose lowering the fuel cost to be in line with its effectiveness as a anti inf only vehicle that has to set up to fire, which I believe would be 30 fuel.
Joseph
Then get rid of it's AA capabilities. It'd be cheap as a SU halftrack but comes upgraded with AA. SU has to spend 120 muni to get AA capabilities.
I believe OKW halftrack already penetrates all light vehicles armor (not light tanks). M20, halftracks, greyhound, m3. There's a possibility that it might become too good of a defensive weapon. Imagine T1 SU. No counters unless build T2 or T3 Su76. |
