Maybe add some unique touch to one of these, they look almost edintical. The others look very nice!
I though about it, i believe developers too. That's why there are monoculars, lost eyes, smoking tubes and other small details. Then large portraits need to be adjusted too. I will make a try later, when finish with brits.

Why is the title called "Improved portraits for Eastern Factions" when there is clearly one faction only!
Unless it was called "- - Eastern Front Factions" would be more acceptable.

nice work as usual, but i cant stand that airborne commander... u did a lot of work to match him with another commanders, but his eyes' look direction, damn, its very annoying to see
I know, but redrawn is much harder to do, and i am not a professional artist to do it on solid level.
Great stuff! The commanders look more distinct as people but fit together better as an art style.
And it's been said before, but the soviet tanker would have been great for the Armored Assault commander.

Nope, i am only working with UI assets, and partisans seems ok in that part.

They look really nice.
I would suggest zooming out a bit in the airborne commander and reducing warm colors/light in advance warfare commander.
I used "body" of the commanders as base, and VDV commanders using the same "body" with counterattack commander.
Sure, i will look at advanced warfare colors and bright.
Also, update commanders in helmets (now their faces on level with others).

the "cover to cover" looks very similar to fire up can it be replaced with something else like "howitzer 105 barrage" victory strike
When i was creating this icon, i used non-used icon from gamefiles, but for brits. It gives both main effect of the ability - sprint and smoke cover. I also created variant with ranger, but decided to send variant with rifles.

Ok, let tell story from my random adventures!
It was even before brits. I was playing on La-Gleze. Right after start one of our opponent started to write something like "cheats.exe activated" and "granted 1000 mp and 100 fuel". Also, he combined it with purple colour for the text.
One of my mates asked what the hell and got answer "press alt+F4 to switch on cheats". Suddenly for me and rest of the team, he didn't get the joke |
3. Vehicle prioritization for AT rocket infantry
This goes beyond just AT squads inside a halftrack. Rockets barely ever hit infantry and if they do hit, the damage is negligible. A perfectly timed flank on a light vehicle with a halftrack can be ruined by the squad inside unloading their rocket salvo on a squad that showed up a split second before the enemy vehicle was in range, possibly resulting in the halftrack being hunted down and destroyed by said vehicle.
When Mr. Smith was in charge, somebody asked the same thing. Mr. Smith said this:
It is possible to add a permanently-on prioritise-vehicles thing for models that carry AT weapons. However that thing stops working the moment stuff garrisons buildings.
However, if we could give an ability to the open-top halftracks to do precisely that, this might fix things. I haven't tried. Unfortunately this requires too much testing, and I don't think we can include this just yet
