COH1 red alerts at the top were so much better than the bland ones in the bottom now. Easier to notice and were easier to click on. I rarely notice "mine detected" for example, you couldn't miss it in vcoh. You don't always hear the audio cue if you are in action or listening to music.

Agreed! Also battleinterface in the vCoH easy for perception. And icon with vechicle in my opinion was better, easier to understand what happened with your vechicle (engine damaged or heavily damaged especially). That's why i prefer vCoH interface.
P.S. Can you say the name of mod for CoH 2, which showed in CoH 2 screenshot?

So, because all discussion is going here (not in my thread ,but it was the first). I will join you and ask moders to close and delete my thread.

Now about patch:
1. Nerf M1910 - Ok, it is to powerfull and used as mainline infantry. If you want to make mainline infantry viable - buff it or rebalance. Maxim nerf is only the half of solution.
2. I am still don't understand, why Relic don't do something with appendix of USSR base teching - Tier One. 2.1 M3 is to expensive for light car (you pay 25 fuel for first one and very rarely build more than one).
2.2 Penal can be fully replaced by Conscripts and enginiers.
2.3 Sniper team very fragile and don't get any support weapon, unlike British or German Sniper (No MG, No mortars and no AT gun.
3. T-34 still useless for Tier 4 or still too expensive for spamtank. Unlike M4 or Cromwell it can't kill infantry or tanks effectivly.
4. SU-85 still urealible Tank Destroyer. Too RNG penetration in late game.
5. Still big number of outclassed Doctrines for USSR and Wehrmacht.
6. USA still have expensive T1 and T2. Make them consistent and cheaper maybe. Nerf rifles, but give to USA support weapon earlier.

BALANCE

Maxim HMG
We felt the Maxim HMG was overperforming in the early game due to its fast set-up. We also made adjustments to its build time and cost so it takes longer to reach the field and so it doesnt replace mainline infantry.
* Set-up from 1.5 to 2.
* Build-time from 24 seconds to 28 seconds.
* Cost from 240 manpower to 260.

Improved Fortification Upgrade
We have decided to reduce the durability bonuses this upgrade provides. We have also decided to increase the time it takes Infantry Section to build these Emplacements since they are not dedicated builders.
* Infantry Section now take 30 seconds longer to build Emplacements and the Forward Assembly.
* Improved Fortification upgrade now increases max health by 20% and armor by 10. Changed from increase in max health by 30% and armor by 40.

WAR PAINT SKINS RELEASE

10 Warpaint Competition skin sets have been added to the game and are available to purchase from the in game store.
30% of the proceeds from these skins go directly to the creators while an additional 20% is funneled back into funding COH2 tournament prize pools and community events to keep the game alive and well!

BALANCE PREVIEW MOD

WAR SPOILS OPEN BETA

In early May we will be running an Open Beta for all those who are interested in testing out and giving feedback on the pending changes to the current War Spoils system. The main goal of this beta will be to stress-test this system in order to find any remaining bugs and to gather feedback regarding any potential last minute tweaks to the system that can be made.

Well, as I said, IS-3 would be really strange, but still - why not? Sturmtiger, produced in 18 number and almost never used in real combats - OK, IS-3 - bad. Logic?

Sturmtiger was used in action during WWII, IS-3 not.

I agree with 1,2,5 and halfly with 7.
IS-3 didn't get in action. IS-2 fit here perfectly as counterpart for King Tiger.
KV-85 based on KV-1S (S for Skorohodniy (Скороходный)) His armor was lower, than on KV-1. And Number of bulid KV-85 is near by 150. In comparison with other USSR heavy tanks it's too small number (2800 for KV-1, 3500 for IS-2. Even KV-2 - 200 (and this is real unique tank)).
AVS-36 in comparison with SVT-40 is also very rare (65.000 and 1.6 million).
PPS in game will have no difference with PPSh.But i agree with you, that PPSh shouldn't be locked by doctrines.
DS-39 - 10.000 produces - too rare for mainline HMG.
T-34-85 - agree, but in that way, USA should get their 76mm Sherman as non-doc (not E8, but M4A3(76)W)
