These changes are simple and do improve the game. Ostheer units have the potent sprint, even before it was introduced into camouflage. Veteran Riflemen never got a rework and was outright removed which would have been a perfect squad leader upgrade like we have for Grenadiers at the cost of a weapon slot. As for what could be done off-the-bat, 'Flares' should be merged with 'Fired-Up' which should no longer have a de-buff. Flares and "fire Up" are weak abilities and could use a some tweaks, the the rest of the ability are very good. I would be careful on changing things in the commander since,imo good abilities should be combined with weak abilities so that the all commanders have about the same power level. My comment thou are a response to a suggestion to replace "fire up" with the Oshteer "tactical movement" ability which imo will prove problematic. In: COH2 Gameplay

There is little reason for USF to have access to a tactical movement ability. The restrictions on "fire up" are there by design and not by accident. In: COH2 Gameplay

Part of mastering a game like CoH2 is getting yourself informed about all the different mechanics. There should be no different mechanics of similar units. Compare the 222 main gun and luch main gun. And it's quite a drastic change that would basically reset its balancing. I think it's much better to take its current state (mediocre) and just tweak it a bit to make it good. The current situation is simply silly and confusing The 222, the luch, the Centaur and the Ostwind all use different mechanism they should simply become similar and simplified so that players had an idea of how these unit work. One could also avoid also other things like the accuracy vet bonuses the 222 gets that only help the mg since the main gun can not really hit infantry and its rather pointless. In: COH2 Balance
