They received major buff including a big price reduction: Fallschirmjäger Fallschirmjager are being adjusted to have better stock performance with only minor changes to their veterancy. Now paradrop into the field instead of infiltrating. Cost from 440 to 380 Reinforce cost from 38 to 36 Population from 8 to 9 Received accuracy from 0.87 to 0.83 Faust range from 15 to 18 Camouflages in cover when stationary; requires no veterancy Veterancy 5 range bonus removed Veterancy 3 received accuracy bonus removed Veterancy 4 accuracy bonus moved to veterancy 3 Veterancy 3 now provides a -20% weapon cooldown Veterancy requirements from 760/1520/3040/3800/5054 to 600/1200/2400/3000/3900 In: COH2 Balance

We seem to have different intepretations of 'soften up'. This is what you wrote: "you can expect your tanks to take a load of damage and your infantry squads to get suppressed and generally softened up." If by that "suppressed and generally softened up." you mean decimated we agree but your wording is very poor, else the claim is false. Now pls move on. In: COH2 Balance

If you think Sector Assault is about the same as a normal loiter, then we disagree. If you're hypocritically quibbling over tangents, then you're wasting everyone's time. I have repeatedly posted that SA is problematic and even provided feedback before it was released pointing out the issue. Now pls stop trying to prove me biased. You have claimed that normal loiter can "soft up" infantry that claim is simply wrong, IL-2 loiter will decimate any infantry it targets and Stuka loiter will do the same to vehicles. Just because 1 ability is OP one does not have to claim other abilities as UP. In: COH2 Balance

I would prefer to make new infantry as much diffrent as it possible to current Infantry Section. Commandos voices could work too or maybe there is something else in gamefiles? It does a lot of damage. Stay in Sector Assault's circle and your army gets deleted. Sector assault is problematic, on the other hand: I suggest you leave infantry inside the IL-2 loiter or tanks inside the JStuka AT loiter and check how "soft" they will become. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Suggestions for new/revamp commanders 18 Jan 2019, 09:33 AM As the results of the last commander revamp are starting to show and since there are new commanders coming I though it is time to make a suggestion about commander Designs. Imo one of the goal of these changes is to increase the "meta" or the number of commander used. That imo can only be achieved by setting a single commander of each faction a benchmark of the power level commander should have for the specific faction and balance all other commander to be around the same power level. The current approach seem to revolve around making the new commander more attractive by buffing certain units or abilities to the point of being OP. That has two bad side effects. Instead of increasing the number of commanders being used they new ones simply replace the old ones. The power level of unit continuously increases and the game becomes more rng/brute force than tactical. (That woulds also allow the suggestion made from the community to be more realistic) In: Lobby
