M36 is one of the best Tank destroyer in game so people who want to rant but can not find disadvantage in it have to look at any difference and present it as major disadvantage when it clear is not. I am not sure but I guess the reason these delays exist on the specific units have to with the fact that they are open top and one can see animation of the crew of the gun like ATGs. In: COH2 Balance

Before the patch Vicker K used be an LMG almost identical to 60 munition Bren You are entitled to believe that Vicker k/60 MU Bren "fires blank rounds" and again Relic decide to tone the Bren and make it even more useless. The patch was aimed at making Vicker K a BAR equivalent but due to a bug it has much inferior DPS on the move. You are entitled to believe that BAR and Vickers K "fires blanks rounds". Vicker K has very low DPS on the move but that is due to a bug and not design. You are even entitled to believe that earth is flat but I have very little interest explaining things to people who are hostile. In: COH2 Balance

Uploading a video would be even better. Calculation of DPS was 5 entities x 80 HP x 1 target size total HP 400 divided by time to kill and then by 2 for two weapons. As I posted in post 22 in the moving calculation it seems I missed the division by 2 and that explains it. The 0.25 moving modifier seems correct. Nice find. In: COH2 Balance

The drop off after that is as you say almost linear. As I pointed out K98s and Enfields are worse offenders in that regard with basically linear similar drop offs and no close range emphasis. On a squad level in the late game this is even worse, with double Bren IS literally having almost the same DPS at all ranges and LMG Grenadiers not losing relatively little with higher range compared to other main lines. Anyway, this thread is about the Vickers K on IS, so SVTs have not much to do here. Since we agree that it is linear SVT are linear from 6 to 35 and we also agree that weapon that are good at all ranges are not good game design we can move on. In: COH2 Balance

In that case, moving DPS would go down to 1.4 DPS. Wow... Question to you both: How did you give them the Vickers? Via the truck? Or via slot item drop? I used upgrade and my target was volks I might have an idea for the problem, did you call in raid section or spawn them? I do have to point that as far as I know before the patch the weapon used was the sapper_vickers_k_machine_gun_mp Now it possible that a new weapon was created but I simply do not know. You can check if the Infantry_vickers_k_machine_gun_mp.txt is the correct weapon by calculating the theoretical DPS from the stat and comparing with a call in raid section that upgrade with the weapon.
