I am simply correcting OP that claims Dshk does less damage than maxim, while pointing out other differences. This thread is about maxim and Dshk lets try to keep HMG-42 out of it. Sprint was removed from maxim exactly because it was OP. patch notes: "We have also removed sprint (which allows MGs to “get away”) and we are increasing the setup time to other MG levels." Comet isn't a bad unit. If UKF vehicles where equally expensive to tech and build, I would fine. Again the reason the C.Pan is goo has nothing to do with aura. It has to do with mark Target (and the fact it has not tech cost). Take away mark target and the units will be UP. Why are we debating the C.Pan, try the ability "D.C.V." it is really solid if not OP. In: COH2 Balance

I am talking mostly about the Aura, C.Pan. is not a bad unit. It is not a cost efficient (560/225, 18 pop) support unit thou. "Designate command vehicle" provides a superior aura and it is a solid (if not OP ability), neither C.PzIV nor C.Pan are more cost efficient support units. In: COH2 Balance

Massively so. C.Pan. is more expensive than normal Panther has a lesser gun and its CP 11. The only reason its any good is because of "mark target". The Aura is simply inferior. Grenadier where supposed to be the DPS dealer and now they are being outgunned from more resilient infantry. Imo if USF and UKF continue to able to equip 2 weapons those weapon should become cheaper and less effective. In addition units like the Penals should hold less of punch at the time they get out and become cheaper. Similar changes should be made to OKW also. Since high lethality make the game less tactical and more RNG it is the rest of faction that need to adapt to Ostheer and not the other way around. In: COH2 Balance

" Yes I noticed that you missed out the aura buffs with vet. + 20% accuracy. -20% reload, +5 range if the wiki is accurate. ... Panther's aura does get better with veterancy (and actually all aura should work this way). The Panther has a XP value of 3.120 which means that it needs allot of time to vet and increase the effectiveness of the aura and only effect infantry at vet 5. Now compare the auras, the UKF aura gives better stats (unless vet 5), is available earlier, does not need XP. (Pls try not to make this personal.) In: COH2 Balance
