Tech has and the tech cost is really low. In addition USF do not have sandbags. Finally UKF are already unique they benefit more when in garrison or cover and have non doctrinal access to trenchs. The thread we are currently in is about the puma, totally not about the jackson. No I did not. I created this thread especially to explain the difference puma has to other AT vehicles. Besides where I post is quite irrelevant to my point and once more I really do not see why you perusing this. When I post in the m36 explaining about the differences with the Puma you complain about going off topic, when I post here you complain it is the wrong thread. The point remain the same regardless of which thread it is posted, Puma and M36 have a different kit available to them. In: Lobby

And it is not a terrible idea. Tommies can currently create cover and self-heal in any position they like requiring the enemy to send at least twice the force to dislodge them and even they can cause as many casualties as they can and then simply retreat. Heavy cover offer many advantages and should not be available for almost every fight. In: COH2 Balance

And there many differences between Puma and M36 you are proposing, both in stat and in optimum usage. Puma has TS of 18 (smaller than average) M36 of 24 (large than average) Puma has a disabling ability better suited for allowing to close in, M36 has penetrating ability better suited for sniping from far. Puma has very low far accuracy/penetration that improves greatly in sorter ranges, M36 has a rather linear curve and it get most out of firing out side the range of its opponents. In: Lobby

Jackson can't push because it lack toughness and is vulnerable at close range. hence the two unit managed to achieve similar tactical weakness for different reason. You misunderstood the use of "push". TDs are there to counter tank and can not spearhead attacks like tanks do. In: COH2 Gameplay

I was replaying to post about "Demo charges on wheels" which is only available to specific doctrine also. That fact remain that Soviet can cloak their vehicles and ATGs also. Light vehicles and tanks chasing have a much easier time, while any grenades means basically a wipe on them (even behind heavy cover). Even more nuke nades. Not gonna mention offmaps. For early game, 60HP means it alters some match ups and recrewing weapons becomes much more appealing even if it has a higher reinforce cost. Not sure if you meant to reduce their HP to 64 or 60, but i guess at 64 it would remain the same against small arm fire. PD: i'm in favour for nerfing auto and buffing barrage. The penalty could come from the weapon itself so it would apply to re-crewed teams also. Grenades could actually use a reduction in damage with some bonuses vs heavy/garrison to compensate. They could become a bit harder to avoid but lowering the chance to wipe. In: COH2 Balance

Doesn't make much sense because vehicle crews vet up fast anyhow. Plus putting another unit inside just to vet it up is also pretty risky. Well if ones have m15a1 vetted crew and green m36 crew and his opponent just made tank swapping crews makes allot of sense. If one wants his RE to get the great vet 1 bonus putting them in mortar HT is any easy and rather safe way to do it. In: Lobby
