Im not saying that they wouldnt be a problem, they could be. But ostwinds most definitely would be a problem. You dont have to stop centaurs, kv1s, or churchills when you can consistently stomp games before they come out, thats how the build worked. A lot of those nerfs you mentioned to okw stuff arent too relevant because the point of the build is that the mechanized units alone (pumas and ostwinds) would do all the work for you. More than that, why even change the ostwind or the m10 to begin with? Its a step in the wrong direction. Because both the ostwind and m10 offer very little with their new high tech cost (especially the ostwind with the cheaper P4 and the more effective AAHT). Once more in the case of the OKW imo these vehicles should be available even if the T4 is destroyed. In: Lobby

Just take a look at OH PV vs OKW PV. They are basically equal on the first 3 lvs. Same with other vehicles or infantry units. Not sure what would you expect out of a passive added bonus. Doing 400 damage with guaranteed acc and pen, on top of old cammo was utterly bonkers. You are basically getting First strike/ambush bonus with the added damage component. Actually OKW P4 has worse rear armor since it start with less armor and gets no armor bonus. In: Lobby

If some people spent less time trying to prove who is fanboy and who is not and more time on the actual suggestions something useful might come out of this thread. Firesparks was actually part of the alpha teams and his contribution in the development of the game is significant. Some of his suggestions like the sticky penal satchel have actually made it into the game. His contribution is a fact, one might want to consider his own contribution before starting to throw rocks. The Raketenwerfer received suppression immunity and its projectiles no longer collide with terrain. Given Ostwind spam existed it evidently could deal with Centaurs. This is nerf to the Puma and it was in previous patch "Aimed shot ability Accuracy vs infantry suffers additional penalties while the Puma is moving. Puma now suffers from the same accuracy penalties as OST sniper vs retreating squads" -- Rakketn werfer got multiple nerf like: Crew target size from 1.25 to 1 Crew weapons have lower DPS Projectile no longer collides with terrain Can no longer be suppressed Veterancy 4 and 5 sight and range bonuses removed Veterancy 1 camouflaged speed bonus from 100% to 25% The projectile can collide with terrain from may experience maybe it does not collide with world objects. In general they unit was nerfed not buffed. -- Centaurs was buffed. It also has more armor than Ostwind and it is supported by good ATGs. Accuracy versus garrisons from 0.4 to 0.5; damage versus garrisons from 0.5 to 0.35 Damage in Hold modifier from false to true; all models in a garrison will now take Far AOE damage Acceleration from 1.5 to 1.8 Speed from 4.6 to 5.2 In: Lobby
Thread: Balance 2018 2vs211 Apr 2018, 16:35 PM The history of what used to be OP/broken is not really helpful, in the current patch (it useful as a reference to what value make sense and what not). If one want 2 weapons to have the same DPS against different targets one has to take into account the difference in target size (if any) or the effective HP. Imo lowering price and performance of dual weapon like D-28 is a better way of doing thing since dropping weapons will a drawback of that will limit the number of weapon given to squads. A number of units had their stats and prices adjusted but no changes where made to their XP values. As a result they are now gaining veterancy too fast or too slow. Su-76 is a prime example of unit vetting to fast. Imo all units XPs values need to be looked at. (Certain units like KV-8 or Hezter that deal damage mostly to infantry should also gain veterancy faster, made it possible to apply a bonus damage and penalty at the same time so that they gain more XP from killing infantry?) (vet bonuses and abilities also need to be looked at but I am trying to keep it simple. For instance accuracy on the main gun of the 222 offer very little to the unit). In: Lobby

An Ostwind build that skips the Schwerer Panzer Headquarters is going to need AT support. OKW's options there are the Puma, the Panzerschreck Sturmpioneer and the Raketenwerfer.
