It has camo and can retreat. I´ve found Raketenwerfer always pesky to fight because you couldn't kill it with small arms fire. It simply slipped away with retreat.
And that's where explosives come in. Explosive weapons of any sort vs Raketenwerfer = instant wipe + free AT gun. |

After OKW revamp, I feel kinda lame playing with or against it. I never had any problem with the resource conversion tool, and I liked that a lot, added a lot of depth on planning the game. And resource-starved faction was something quite thematic for the faction.
I always thought that the better volks could easily be the only revamp needed for OKW. With that faction in mind, volkshrek blobs were forgivable. Well, now, with powered up volks and full resources, loosing the shrek is a long-wait necessary nerf.
Still, I'd go back to old OKW with little thought - just send the better volks along with it.
The resource starved faction was originally why I bought OKW. I really loved the new strategies that surfaced. Remember how salvaging vehicles actually did something slightly relative back then? |

1 Calli, 1 B4 shot, Katy's, Churchill Croc with more HP than a KT, and the list could go on and on. Not to mention the power of Rifles, Bren Tommies, etc.
OKW will be the only faction without infantry base AT options and they have the most expensive tanks in the game. Yet they buff the 80 fuel T34 lol.

IMO its just a dumb move to remove the shrecks from Volks they where fine on volks. They just needed to do less damage to infantry and long range accuracy was a bit to good, other then that they fitted on Volks.
Wher and OKW starting to look more and more the same. Added MG doesnt help with this.
Volks would be ok with the panzerschreck if they had less range, and an accuracy nerf. Combine that with the damage vs infantry nerf, and it should work out just fine. OKW already has enough nerfs to deal with anyways.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe the range of the Raketen is 50 whereas ZIS is 60, or I'm running off old stats.
Don't forget about it being easily wiped by just about any explosive. |
I meant specifically At options in general and not mobile ones, Sov dont have mobile at options in there tree unless they get doc and they are doing just fine.
I have no worry for soviets considering them and USF are getting buffs left and right, so with Relic giving OKW a huge vulnerability to early-mid game tanks, that is a big no no. |

Volks need G43, not Stg44
I'd leave the G43s to Ostheer and Panzerfussies. I'd rather see the squad receive 5x mp40s all better than the weapon team's version. It would turn them into a better version of assault grenadiers. |

Agree. At least the original design had some choice and different strategies available. Now they are just inferior Wehrmacht locked to one strategy.

i have to agree that the old okw gave a better feeling, and i personaly dont like the direction where the changes are heading - Homogenization isnt the right way of balancing armies :/

OKW is dumbest faction ever created with shitest design and any changes won't fix them unless completly remade. You removed pazerschreks from volks and give them stg's instead? Fine. Be prepared for 6 volks strat with double/triple pupchen support + Puma/Luchs. What's the point getting additional sturmpio or elite infantry like expensive Obers or Falls if you have cheap, basic infantry with powerful AI upgrade? They could receive somehow buffed MP40's but not StG's. Anyway, RiP Heal building. LeIG isn't real reason to go for it. HT is dead if you have doctrinal MG-42 and nondoctrinal MG-34. And I would like to ask you Miragefla, why you decided to put MG-42 instead? Imo Kubelwagen would be much better instead. And I could point out it more but I don't see the reason for it. To sum up, OKW need rework, not only changing units stats. I would like to see if they back to his old resource system but it's not balance sugestion but my personal wish.

So, from what I took away from this:
- The STG on volks is shit, so there's no reason to buy it.
- MG-42 was thrown in there last minute just to fill up an ability.
- The Med HQ will be pointless.
Regarding the panzerschreks on volks, I don't think removing it is a good idea. I think nerfing the range of them as suggested by Brad is the best idea.
