Hello, so this hit me, how about giving the ability to weapon teams to dig in, basically what I'm trying to do is have the free team members "dig" in a position around the weapon and lay sandbags in front of it, for example I have an idea of using the building animation where the models dig and then lag sandbags, using the respective for the terrain splats (craters) and setting 3 sandbag_wall_01 sections from the environment, art_ambient, defenses, sandbags category, which I believe are also used in the hull down for the Wehrmacht.
So I'm guessing it's sorta like the Hull Down and sandbags popping up around the PaK 43 so if I could get a little bit of help with the coding in SCAR I'd greatly appreciate it. |
Hi. How do I modify the USF Base Stamper by putting my modified USF Buildings? It doesn't seem to have the fields to change the buildings on the stamper in the editor.

Doesn't make sense for them to have demo charges instead of Shrecks but they do make sense to have a 5th man in the squad, funny thing is when you think about it, the assault versions of the Grenadiers and Panzergrenadiers both have 5 men in their respective squads. |
CoH's soundtrack is miles ahead of CoH 2's ones, I like most of CoH's soundtracks unlike just a few from CoH 2's ones, specifically 2 from the original one, 2 from the western front's one and 1 from the British one.
I mean, cmon, compare 2 orchestral albums to what, like 30 something tracks that aren't even in albums?
As for the music editing, as long as there isn't an option to give Armies their native voices, I don't think they'll add the music one either sadly, of course, that is if it's not possible with modding in the near future, but I'm not so sure if it's possible right now. |
I've said it before, I'll say it again, combine the reinforce center and field hospital upgrade of the bunker into one, give it a price of 100/120 ammo, optionally give it a forward retreat point ability, problem solved, add a 3rd field repair station upgrade, there.

Eh, not really. If you had to exaggerate any faction's weaknesses to point out they're not perfect, any of them would sound UP, just a Commissar cherrypicking strengths and ignoring the faction's weaknesses would make them look overpowered.

Emplacements hurt 4v4 randoms the most as there is not enough coordination to simply flank and encircle the zones that are under the reign of the emplacements. You can rarely get all of the players to coordinate with you, so there is no way to take advantage of the static positioning.
I think we can all agree on that but it's sadly a universal problem for all of us, you need at least 1 good and active friend in order to even slightly coordinated and have a chance at winning. |
