Adding a minimum range to the Mortar Pit will solve a lot of problems, I'm telling you.
And I'm telling you all that replacing the mortar pit with a mobile mortar and making the pit into a garrisonable emplacement will solve all of the issues the current pit has.
Don't believe me? Go play with Planet Smasher's artillery pit mod from the Workshop and try the same tactic. |
This isn't anything new really, I even had an idea of scarping the individual 251s and intoducing a single 251 in the Mechanized HQ from which you could upgrade to a more specialized role. It was intended to save space in the production queue. But alas my modding knowledge, experience and time weren't enough to do it sadly. |
FRPs are a risk and reward thing that's only beneficial to a smart user on a large map.
It hurts gameplay on smaller maps and EFAs |
Maybe you should Start play the game.dont be a katitof.
There is nothing more cringey than Balance Posters who dont play the game
Hmmm, and where have I exactly bitched or moaned about the balance, and wanted straight buffs or nerfs to a unit ir Army, and when have I ever been biased?
You can't prove anything you say except for the fact that I am currently not playing the game because my computer is out of order.
But still, I have experience with the game and that's why I keep posting, plus I'm a modder, I can backup my claims unlike many other people who don't even know or care how the game works. |
Yeah t0 access to .50 would probably be too op. Does usf really need another weird neutered team weapon though (@81mm mortar). I think making volley fire better/usable would be a better alternative, since RE spam isn't really a problem and they are easily the worst starting unit anyway.
Personally, I don't think so, since the riflemen are in a good spot. I just wanna see them animate the. 30 cal for use in mods lol. |
I agree about the MG34 hitting the field too late to be effective.
As for the. 50, well since it doubles as a soft vehicle counter it's price and research is sort of justified.
Replace it with a 30 cal, for which there is already a model for in the game, just needs animating, and making it early access could definitely work without it being OP. |

Wooooot
Hmm, you've been doing this for the last couple of topics now, what is your motivation exactly? Do you have a fetish for me because I proved you wrong or just like stalking me from your mom's basement or something?
Let's settle this like men, or whatever you identify as. |

So Steel Division has a morale system (as far as I found it out, I'm really a newb there), all units have a bar that fills up (different speed for different actions (under constant HMG fire, small arms fire, surrounded, etc)). If a unit's bar fills up totally, it will become "pinned down" - can't fire, nor move, only retreat" - but if you don't retreat them in time, they'll either become dead, or if an enemy unit comes into close proximity to them, your units will surrender to the enemy.
The bar's statuses are -
Engaged
Worried
Shaken
And the "pinned down" state
You can boost your units morale by moving a commander unit into the given proximity (commander units have a circle showing the range their effect is in work) - it gives a unit +1 veterancy level, therefore improving accuracy, boosting morale, optics, RoF, etc.
I don't know how you would imagine it in CoH2, as it's a really different game from SD44. You are in a need for combined arms, to actually achieve anything
Yeah, I imagine it could be modified to work on a smaller scale to fit COH2, it's just that nobody has attempted yet. |
Thanks man! Big help.
Very nice info on tournament statistics page.
So now Stug-E is more like that stug ausf.G from good old vCoh? Nice.
That was a StuH 42 armed with a 105 LefH howitzer, not a StuG III Ausf. G. |
