Thread: WC 2020 aftermath 22224 Nov 2020, 12:15 PM I think the 222 is perfect at the moment, it is just that we OST players are locked into doing the same thing over and over again due to the game's balance feeling really stale and everything else has been nerfed to complete utter boredom. I'd rather see other units being buffed than nerfing any units which are seen as overused. That endless cycle of asking for nerfs when something seems to be working must be broken. Also, I must insist that a tournament seeing a lot of action from a given unit does not make it automatically point to a nerf. According to the logic, other units like the Jackson has barely seen any play in the tournament at all, does that mean it needs a buff? In: Lobby

It is the just the current meta which is mostly dictated by early game units like the WC51, Ostruppen and the 222. Some nudging of other units like on OKW and other units here and there and the WC51 will be balanced. I'd rather see a buff to the M20 so that will see more play and less people will be inclined to choose the WC51. It's the action - causality effect of nerfing units. It's kind if stupid that the tournament was mostly the same thing over and over again, just because that's what all that is left after endless cycles of nerfing units over and over again. In: Lobby

If there is anything that needs rework it's the maps. Some are plain idiotic or completely imbalanced that completely throws off the general balance of units. Regarding buildings, I think any MGs in buildings are overperforming due to the game's garrison mechanic. Thinking of it, any unit play that involves the inside of buildings/houses/garrisons is kind of a broken with some weird mechanic that does not really make sense anyway. It is reasonable that there's some garrison and building play in a WW2 scenario, but the way CoH2 implemented it is not that fun. One badly placed garrisonable building on a map can screw up encounters massively and easily change the outcome of a fight. In: COH2 Balance

Since you explain that tech needs to be included, do you mind telling us how to got to these numbers that one is higher than the other? Thread: Conscript PPSH assault package3 Nov 2020, 13:18 PM I laugh in my own OST voice when I face SOVs players who decided to go PPSHs. it is sad that ppsh cons cant defeat my AssGrens. That doctorine is massively lacklustre and does nothing at all. I think there's no need to think about fixing it, I think what is needed is to tell players what is meta, and what isn't. PSSH is deffo not meta at all, and never will be, unless they and cons receive a massive change. In: COH2 Balance
