AEC average vs vehicles? It beats any light vehicle other than the puma, and if there is a puma, there is no threat to infintry.

And you do know the AEC can just sit outside of Faust range and bleed models right?

If Brits were to get snare on infintry sections, there would need to be massive nerfs to them and the faction. Remember what it took to give OKW snares?

Why do they need a snare when they get the fastest vehicles (light and medium) in the game (maybe not the 222).

Plus they dont have to worry about crush.

they also are on a tier which then excludes you from getting support weapons.

Well, I'd expect 300MP squad to win vs Grens or Volks with similar veterancy.

Tho after upgrade, battle should be in favour of Grens (which in fact is the case).
Idk how it is with Volks with upgrade casue my connection forbids me watching right now

The video shows that in when both Volks and Penal are in green cover with 0 vet and 0 upgrades, with the volks losing 5 men and the Penal losing one, shouldn't the Penal be only 50 mp (25%) more effective than the volk?

Furthermore Volks vet 5 loses to penal vet 3 in green cover. What's the point of Volks (and OKW) if their vet 5 bonuses can't compete with the vet 3 bonuses of other infantry? OKWs vet 5 was supposed to be 1.25 as effective as comparable allied units. Somehow this is no longer the case. (Rant: Also I find it imbalanced that Volk Vet 3 is much weaker than other mainline infantry's vet 3. IMO Volks vet nerfs should have been reverted when shrek's were removed.)

Also in the Obers test, vet 0 Obers vs vet 0 Penal, the obers lost 2 and the Penal lost 6. If you can justify the penal vs volk/gren performance due to a 50 MP difference, why isnt the 100 MP difference that obers have over Penals seems to not have a similar performance differential?

Locked behind expensive tech? Plus, volks toss a nade, the penials get out, kill them, then get back in. Much effective.

As long as the soviet player picks T1 ,you dont have to face garrisoned mg.

I thought you were talking about OKW, why are you bringing in another faction into the mix? Also i hope you were not implying that the MG34 is OP, because its trash.

No since engines aren't as tough, plus you can safely move into negative cover or open cover without being murdered.

I had a look at the stats.

DPS with a single BAR/LMG42/Bren:

LMG42 Grenadiers 23.61 17.06 33.25 25.64

Bren IS (in cover) 18.63 17.22 26.26 22.43

Effective Squad Health:

Squad Vet 0 Vet 3

Grenadiers 352 457

Riflemen 412 669

Infantry Sections (in cover) 444 585

Infantry Sections (out of cover) 400 526

The stats certainly agree with you on the BAR. It effectively adds an additional Rifleman to the squad at long range which heavily impacts Grenadiers while its close-range damage makes it difficult to use Panzergrenadiers.

Oddly enough, Infantry Sections don't massively outperform DPS-wise. Their durability will allow them

to win any long-range firefights but a competent player can simply rush them with CQC infantry.

I certainly agree with you that Grenadiers (and their LMG42) aren't really the problem.
