If they spawned with out weapons, and were still as expensive as they are, people just wouldn't buy them. You don't want to nerf units to the point where people don't want to use them any more (R.I.P IS2). You need to make them balanced as best you can.

Infiltration units are quite expensive, so if you wanna nerf the moment they pop out from a buildings then at least decrease the cost of a unit if it's called from a base sector. |
From 2v2 perspective Mechanized isn't the best commander but i guess it's worth to have in your load out. A.Soldier already meansioned his advantages so i won't repeat him.
His biggest disadvantages is that you lack of counters to certain cheese strats that are common on 2v2 mode. You have to remember that if you pick commander too early you may get really punished in late game. B4s, ML-20, priests, medium tank spam, ISUs that sorf of strats can be really deadly for you. Therefore you should also have: lighting war (Tiger with stuka AT strafe) and elefant commander (with stuka bomb) with you.
Of course if your teammate has counters to that strats you have more space with choosing the commander. When you play randoms it's better to be prepared that this job will be on your shoulders.
Generally speaking most meta commanders from 1v1 aren't so usefull in 2v2 mod.
But i think the best way will be if you to play few games and decide if it's worth using. |
How about to give cons "To the last man" ability like penals have? Replace this stupid "Flare mine" ability.

For T-34, can also make armor for the veterans, but no one will draw another model of the tank.

you wanna give t34 a armor buff/upgrade for the tank that costs only 80 fuel and you wanna make is as strong and p4 (135 fuel -ostheer version). yeah let's make hords of unkillable t34s, That's what this game needs right now.

Command panther is 16 pop for record, comet is now one less pop than the King tiger at 21
I'm not sure about anyone else but the new nerfed comet is not exactly KT material...

I do think 17pdr shouldn't take up a quarter of your army though, especially when it's just blatantly worse at everything except blowing up than the pak43.

Howitzer is fine as it is. It is there to counter greedy players who choose a doc very early (like partysans). If you were greedy yourself and build one early on, you also deserve to get it removed as howitzer gameplay is lame and boring and basically killed coh1 teamgames.

I think if they could have some form of damage reduction to at least withstand a dive bomb or mattress that could be alright. It'd work similar to brace but hopefully not as gimmicky.
But again, you suggest that there is a brace button so dive bomb wouldn't kill arty for 600mp. So it would be a waste of 160ammo. Remember that counters to static arty aren't really cheap. |
