That's also the reason why I gave out the idea for an upgrade for the Jackson to the M36B1 that uses the Sherman hull, or for the M4A2 Jumbo to be added to provide the USF with a meatshield for their Jacksons because if we're honest, that's the only thing the USF lacks, vehicles that can take a hit, except for the Pershing of course, but it's a singular heavy tank that's more akin to the Panther and it can't be everywhere at once to provide cover for your Jacksons.

Jumbo would be nice. Unlockable after all techs for example. USF lacks of serious late game units
Stronger jakson is a step in right direction but bigger diversity would be welcome as well. |
There is already a night time mechanic in the game but it's purely cosmetical and I prefer it that way.
Reason and proof it won't work? ColdTech and the removal of Blizzards from Winter maps unless in custom games.

Our on this forum more often so you may have right about those topics. Imo, spamming the problem on forums make at least 1% chance that Relic will turn his scope on it (after few years) and this ability needs adjustments. Captain obvious is here to remind us this issue

I probably would guess that a team has at least 1 pop, so if there are 3 people or less in the squad it will always have at least 1 pop.

I can see the 50+ T34 spam coming because of 300 one manned Maxims in the Soviet Base.
It's a patch preview. You can open the game, test it by yourself and give feedbacks. That's the idea. It's a FALL balance patch. It means it's gonna be live in not earlier than 3 months. There will be plenty of other changes like it was in a winter balance patch. There is no need to complain (at least for now )

And you can still upgrade the pit straight away, so now you have what, 30 seconds more before the mortar pit fest starts? Not that great imo, but i could be wrong.
Yeah but on some maps brits needs early antygarison unit. It;s easier now to get it early game and still have resources to get fast AT gun or AEC. It adds more options imo.
And 30 sec upgrade is still a good thing. First mortar volley won't be so deadly (cannot count when first mortar pit volley wiped my entire squad), 30 sec before it has his full potensial gives some time to respond. Again, more options to fight with, and 30 sec less annoying, not so great but it is still something. |
Mortar autofire range was reduced, not it's barrage range(115).
On the other hand, spending 400 mp total will net you the old mortar pit+33% faster barrage (and the need to micro the barrage but what is that for the likes of top 100 players?)
I just wonder why anyone wouldn't spend 400 mp.
Auto-Fire and HE Barrage
• Autofire range reduced from 120 to 85
• HE barrage range reduced from 150 to 120
• HE Barrage cooldown reduced from 75 secs to 60 secs
Barrage was reduce too but if you say it's still enough compare to leigs then it's fine. And love that ugrade change. It's finally open this unit to a 1v1 mode and reduce their early game efficiency in team games. |

Guys, as much as i'm against mortar pit spams and abusement i wonder if the pit is able to fight vs leigs after that reduce range changes. This emplacement will be kinda useless if it's gonna be simply outrange by other units this type (mortar vet2 or meansioned leig) |
