MOBILE AT. Thats a big difference. To be honest if you lose any vehicle to ATG's or hand held AT weapons you have yourself to blame. And that was the problem of the ostheer they didn't have any mobile at until the p4 arrived.

But he's right, the 57mm AT Gun fires faster than the Pak 40 with the same damage, and the lower penetration doesn't matter because it's still higher than the Luch's armour. Remember how nobody likes to use the T-70 because the old Pak 40 would kill it way too quickly? That's what the 57mm would do to a 320HP Luchs.

The comet and Panther are technically referred to as medium tanks by the game, but in reality they are more like medium heavies.

Just like comparing a T34/76 "medium" tank to a "medium" Panther when one has much higher armour and a better AT gun.

Also on topic, OKW P4s are fine. They get skirts at vet 0, benefit stupidly from stacking armour bulletins, and have a moderately good gun.
