Thread: Problems I have with the game29 Oct 2016, 09:15 AM Messing with infantry entities' health like that is an extremely dangerous proposition - for example, Volksgrenadiers do 12 damage per hit and will take one hit less to kill the proposed Riflemen's models, but Grenadiers do 16 damage per hit and will still take 5 hits to kill Riflemen entities and so these changes would basically "buff" Riflemen's effectiveness early-game against Grenadiers since their performance against Grenadiers will see no change but they will be cheaper. Not to mention this would make them more vulnerable to AoE which I'm strictly against after the suffering of many 4-man squads in light cover - an eye an for eye makes the whole world ragequit from one-shot gibs. To nerf Riflemen, it is far better to simply nerf their price, accuracy, target size, etc. than messing with the complexities of infantry health. In: COH2 Balance

Though IMO it takes the wind out of the "no female soldiers because WE MUST MAINTAIN REALISM" argument. I thought it was ridiculous at first glance, but there's models of female soldiers used in the singleplayer already and yeah the game's already very divergent from WWI so I really can kinda see why some are a bit incensed. Frankly, the exclusion of France or Russia from release is already a historical travesty anyway, chicks in trenches can't make it much worse In: Other Games

Yeah, the accuracy buff would definitely be useless, but the reload modifier granted to vehicles might make the barrage happen faster. But testing did not imply this to me - shells seemed to be loaded at the exact same rate in spite of the buff appearing over the howitzer squad. In: COH2 Gameplay

Pretty sure that affects heavy weapon teams which howitzers should be pretty similar too. I'll test it. In: COH2 Gameplay
