Just wondering, you surely missed to mention the damage and range reduction, right? Because all what is mentioned as game data are BUFFS.
Such changes are already in, the sum of the changes listed here indicate it. |
They fixed the raptor legs, NNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!! |
Was it ever in store though? Wasn't it like you just typed coh key into steam and it gave you both versions? And shouldn't you get both versions when simply buying coh on steam?
Yes, I'll admit never tried it before, but I wouldn't be surprised they just didn't bother making the (New Steam Version)'s store page not link to anything. The original version that you can just find by searching Company of Heroes in the Store serves the same purpose anyway.
...which unfortunately isn't helpful for your intents either from what I can see. There were some rather recent reviews of it as well, so this problem just popped up. |
I didn't have a problem with finding it myself, so I couldn't tell you the problem with it for ya - either way, here's a link to the page. http://store.steampowered.com/app/4560/
Checking it again, I can't see a way to review there still either. It definitely works for me on other games, however. Must be a mistake somewhere... |
so, community is making this patch, still requires Lelic authority to update community patch?
No one say that we'll pay them to be able to patch the game ourselves. Just don't. |
Stealth units with Flamers and good Grenades?
That will totally not end with more Axis tears.
OH MY GOD WHY IS EVERYTHING ON FIRE
Oh right he went Mobile Assault |
I feel like 5th man might require a veterancy nerf somewhere else for it to work. It is, after all, in a way +25% accuracy, health, build time and repair time. I still think that's still worth doing, but we probably have to be a bit careful with it since AEs can actually fight initially unlike, say, REs. |
How about fixing up pathing, seems like people forgot bout this? It can still be atrociously bad at times and using the reverse key doesn't always solve the problem.
In a way, I really hope that isn't fixable by the mod team. |
penals right now are way too strong. so you give them ptrs and seeking AT satchels? whaa?? heres my 2 cents. penals make no sense currently. historically they were given the worst equipment, often times given sticks and told to run directly across minefields and at defensive positions. the only rifles they got were the ones they beat out of the hands of germans if they could. so why do they start with an advanced SVT rifle? i think they should start with mosins, and given the option to buy svt rifles with munitions. penals just dont make any sense in this game. why do untrained prisoners defeat volksgrenadiers and grens 1v1?
It was slightly more complex than that - while there were certainly events of shtrafbats being used in manners only slightly less directly than outright being executed anyway, it was still frequent that they would be personally equipped to actually have a chance in an assault against their foes for win-win reconnaissance-in-force - under close supervision, naturally.
The SVTs definitely make little sense historically, though. They would got Mosins and PPShes like everyone else could expect to. |
Well, that is not a problem. Back in 2013 ostheer commanders had almost no useful abilities and it seemed much healthier that it is now. Commanders that change army too drasticly are hard to ballance and often create a narrow meta.
Of course if these tanks are ever going to be non-doc they need quite a nerfing to them. Just like soviet early game. It's a long way that nobody is probably going to go, but from design perspective it is well possible.
I can see what you mean. I just...can't see it ever happening without fixing like, the entire game at the same time, 'cause that would probably be somewhat close to what's needed for it.
Maybe some day...definitely not near to today. |
