I don't think that twp change will affect stug much, it is still a extremly cost efficient TD.

I don't have an opinion on the topic (forgive me), but I felt compelled to compliment your presentation. Your post is very well written and I've taken a genuine interest in the issue.

It has gotten rather overbuffed with the recent changes of always providing a massive durability buff to already tough and lethal infantry. This resulted in the Command Tank going from a mainly defensive one to a unit that can support attacks as well. Always providing buffs makes it rather a no brainer choice considering you can skip T3 with it and rely on Paks or hard as nails Grenadiers. Moving it to T3 would force a choice between a supporting unit or a more versatile, aggressive tank. At least tweak it were it only gives the buff to surrounding units, not itself, and in territory.

Pretty much, yeah. Some stat wizard might be able to tell ya more precisely, but that should be the gist of it since it halves two fairly simplistic factors to DPS, and 25% is 100% halved twice. |

It actually kinda got a secret buff by the new out-of-cover squad spacing, so then it'll have the benefit of being unable to be suppressed along with not being in cover and therefore probably not getting one-shot by nearly everything that explodes. |
I'd like to add that rather than Panzergrenadiers, IMO Stormtroopers should be able to swap- being doctrinal as well as more situational, this unit also uses Mauser rifles instead of MP44s. I recall you also can't buy both upgrades, so you either get a super AI unit, or a grenadier with panzerschreck. Being costly, doctrinal and spawn behind front lines, swapping one panzerscrheck to give the squad one extra bolt action rifle is far less controversial than swapping two for assault rifles.

Well, it would be a lot better off than USF requiring a commander for sandbags or Soviets and OKW not having bunkers if Ost could just build sandbags. |

This would be awesome. Imagine an AT gun with dual bazookas, or a .50 Cal with two M1919s... amazing really. Hilarious sounding for sure, but contrary to the intent of weapon teams - excellent effectiveness against specific targets within firing arc when properly set-up at the cost of vulnerable when either of those is not the case. So, I can't agree with doing that. |
This would solve "your" pop cap problem but would cut your mp income (1,5 mp per pop),for example you have 4 grens with only 1 member left ,you would still lose 28*1,5=42 mp per minute instead of
only 9 mp.
