At current 60 munitions cost that's just 30 munitions, compared to Stormtroopers' 4x MP44x at 100. That makes the latter's cost (plus ability unlock) actually cheaper, albeit at a measly 5 munitions since 25 munitions per weapon for Stormtroopers. IMO Storms should ahve just gone for regular G43s and gain the tactical advance ability straight on, whereas the MP44s is the Infrared one. True, and the Storms' will give them superior DPS at the desired range, but there are caveats to that: 1) More DPS is in each squad member for Storms than the StG Obers, the first two losses will absolutely destroy Storms' total DPS while it would barely dent the Obers. 2) Obers' StGs mostly ignore cover. 3) Obers' StGs are less penalized on the move (better burst duration by 0.125 and accuracy multiplier by 0.15). So, Storms' has better potential DPS and Tactical Advance, while Obers' is cheaper, better on the move, more resilient to losses in combat, and mostly ignores cover. Thus, I think Obers' version is a little bit ahead by comparison and Storms' version could stand to be just a bit cheaper to make it feel equal. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Automatic reload when out of combat22 Sep 2015, 20:39 PM I too think it would be a very nice function for all units (uh, aside from the Sturmtiger) to automatically reload their weapons after being declared out-of-combat. HMGs might need a bit more tweaking to have that work though since they have to set-up to reload unlike other weapons. Though if they can just magically make everyone's magazines/clips full after they are out-of-combat, no problem there then. In: COH2 Gameplay

They are too damn expensive, they should at least function as Rifles. I agree that flamer is also shit and overlaps CEs. Better SVTs (G43 profile), maybe LMG upgrade and maybe increase their Reinforce price since they have fantastic Vet. Going back to penals' use in the beta would be some hilarious recursion (their rifles were far better at that point at long-range, so many people never upgraded their flamethrower). Like seriously the guy just spent 325 muni on your hq that has existed for like 20 minutes and gave you a local advantage, what's the problem? You should be happy he didn't pick the croc commander It's like the complaints about Stuka Dive Bomb against call-in arty, or old P-47/Stuka CAS vs. tanks. There maaaayyyyyy be a justifiable cost-to-effect ratio, but design-wise, it feels super sucky to be subjected to. Not to say I like the Flak HQ though, I hate that bloody thing. In: COH2 Balance
