To deny cover everyone else has to start rolling out wire, but you throw down a free charge and it's gone. It kills stuff and gives you LoS as far as I remember for 10 Ammunitions (Its been a while since I played the Reds, has it changed?). They got nerfed a long while ago because the damage it did was way too much compared to a "regular" mine but I remember a recent 1v1 where I lost like 1 to 2 models to it. It also indicates a flanking maneuvre so I wouldnt call it useless. Not useless, but literally all of infantry having it? Definitely kinda a bit much. In: COH2 Balance

Indeed, from what I can tell, it's a BAR in many ways - both fired full-powered rifle rounds automatically, both were intended to be mobile automatic rifles, both used 20-round magazines (), both suffered from control issues when fired fully-automatically that ultimately had them fail to achieve their intended purposes. Just the difference was one was heavier, giving it a weight problem but alleviating the control issues when fired from a static position, while the other had no weight issues but left its fully-automatic capabilities just plain poor. In penetration performance, 34-76 and M4A3 are entirely alike, while the IV's is superior over the others by 10 at mid-range and 20 at long-range.
