Eve O was never Free2Play as you bought the PLEX from someone who actually had to spend real money for it!
PLEX is also an indicator for the playerbase, as a rising median means fewer players who are activly selling them on the market -> higher PLEX price, lower playerbase (expect those wannabe-"F2P"-F1 robots, they tend to play the game longer because, well, it's basicly just ISK for their gametime)...
Coh2 will never be a competitive RTS. The Story settled in WW2 is not mainstream enough, too much violence and last but not least a publisher that has got 0 tendences for esports.
Other than that I agree, the Coh Franchise is way too expensive and I'm saying that while looking at two neat little "Steelboxes", one for Coh1, the other is the Red Star edition. |
Zooks and Thomsons, da eff yeah! MURICA!! |
It's fine as it is. You can heal units on the field, it has an aura and it's free to use. Just accept the downside that you can't get any medics parked next to your retreat point. And those medics out of the glider really suck, their autoheal ability is somehow bugged, at least I have to manually heal squads from time to time.
On the other hand, l2p, smoke and flank, as usual. |

Anyone else noticed that the UKF Sniper has a hard time hitting garrisoned troops? Had my Sniper missing like 8 shots before killing a model in a building over the last couple of games. Is it bad RNG or working as intended? If so its even more frustrating that the Centaur is the only solution to clear a well defended housecomeplex by now as you simply have nothing against infantry in buildings. The Carrier, which will get killed too easily by shreks and even MG fire itself is not really an option midgame.
Any thoughts/experience on that? |
You know in advance whats coming. |
for a 10 ammunitions ability I want to spam it at every chokepoint possible - no matter if a shocktroop sets it or a conscript. Well okay, the AT Partisans seems a bit out of place.
Here's the top post :
Now, this ability can be quite useful. But it doesn't need to be on every single infantry unit. Let Conscripts and Engineers have it. To all the other infantry, it's pretty garbage.
In my opinion Engineers are allready too busy in a match repairing vehicles, building base and roasting enemies so they really cant be send to a chokepoint to set a flare trap that kills 2 models at max. Conscripts is okay but what if you just build like 2 Squads and the rest is Call-Ins ? Your Guards are getting to a flank position but are weak at their flank? Quickly set up a flare trap. Your Shocks are hiding behind a Sightblocker? Good you set up a flare trap inb4 to just jump out and - ratatatata - kill everyone.
I would just keep the vet-1 ability for now and dont overbuff the Allies as the Axis is really struggeling at the moment. Sure thing, a vet-1 buff to armor, rec. accuracy or dps would be nice but that would change a variety of synergies and match-up tables in favour of the soviets. |
trip wire flares useless??! It kills stuff and gives you LoS as far as I remember for 10 Ammunitions (Its been a while since I played the Reds, has it changed?). They got nerfed a long while ago because the damage it did was way too much compared to a "regular" mine but I remember a recent 1v1 where I lost like 1 to 2 models to it. It also indicates a flanking maneuvre so I wouldnt call it useless. |

T-70like speed, mounted HMGs on every side, Flamethrowers as well and the HP of a churchill pls. Something fancy like minesweepers too or the imperial march once you've selected it would be cool. oh and Laz0rbeamz ofc. |
