450Mp initial cost at the vanguard glider, 40-45 per model reinforce.
Break cloak while winding up the gammon bomb/nade, an increase in detection range while cloaked (+ 25% - 50%) so that its still possible to actively sneak up to an <insert_teamweapon_name_here> position but this cheesy resourcepoint-camping or VP-cap-denial in cover should be a bit harder. |
They were pretty badass when WFA got released but after everyone was like "OMG Stahp dis bullshit!!°!" they got nerfted to what I like to call a Manpowersink. |
It's pretty easy to deal with ISG's especially in 1v1's; you just have to flank and keep your units moving.
Thats why the instapin of the LeIG is so annoying. You cant flank it when your troops are pinned down.
The ISG is keeping OKW viable in the competitive scene, so nerfing it would effectively send the OKW into obscurity and it'll end up being a faction no one will play except for me and a number of other people.
Thats true. Nerfing the LeIG without buffing the factions Infantry is not a good idea. But right now the LeIG is a viable resource for the OKW to freeze an allied push and creep slowly forward until the better OKW tanks can roll out. And its really a unit you just buy and barely put any micro in it. You just put it next to your MedHQ or FlakHQ and take all the points in its range while its autoattacking and aoutopinning every unit while killing half the models of a squad on a direct hit. |
give them wooden stick instead, so they can beat the crap out of USF vet3 flamers
+1
Sticks and Spoons are enough to beat the allied Infantry |
this is plain wrong. as i said, i share the (static!) IP address i currently use with thousands of users at any given time. if only one of those users decides to create a coh2.org account, it would look like multi-accounts. the reasons as for why this could happen are, as i have previously mentioned, manyfold.
You and me dont have an insight in the Logfiles that showed the Account access. So only RNGeezus knows who is right, mate. But, as I said, a random access to two accounts with the same IP is statisticly possible. If it happenes within 15 mins over lets say a 7day range each day, dont you think this is a bit too suspicious?? |
this is only true for dynamically allocated ip addresses, in which case an ip ban is completely useless anyway. my case still stands.
Dont get me wrong, it is statisticly possible for this to occur. But the numbers are so large that its impossible to happen more than once for coh2.org. If IP logging is enabled and the Admin sees a pattern of those two accounts within a given timeframe (hours, days, weeks), its statisticly impossible that two individual persons can have the same IP twice. Therefor, one person is using two accounts. |
i, for example, know for a fact that the IP i have is being used by tens of thousands of users at the same time. if only one of those users decides to pick up coh2 and create a coh2.org account, i run the risk of getting banned for multi accounts.
so just to make sure... dbmb was removed because multi account... and razh has been temp banned?
Conspiracy is in the air!! Maybe the NSA hacked his rig to play some rounds CoH2... mate ... Youre trying to compare Apples with Oranges here...sure, two persons can share the same IPv4, but to be honest, youre comparing one large group of numbers (IPs) with another very large (The Users). If you even everything out the chance of this to happen is too slim to even be noteworthy... |
multipost, sry for that |
Imho the real problem with the ISG is that the OKW got neither nondoctrinal HMGs (Areadenial, Pins, Supressions) nor Mortars (Manpowersource of Indirect Fire) at their disposal and Relic is desperately trying to fix the gameplay somehow around that OKW-"Feature". |
ISG is overperforming, even in 1v1s with only like 2 of them. Higher the shatter just a bit, lower the damage (no more oneshots pls!),the range and remove the instapin from both the ISG and the Pack Howie. But on the other hand : What else is in the OKWs repertoire? Lousy early-mid infantry that cant go toe-on-toe with its counterparts and a huge penalty on Resourceincome. I actually saw a FSJ squad getting smoked up by a british RE squad on mid to shortrange ... And Obers are arriving quite too late to have a big impact on the general outcome of a game (all 1v1 impressions as Im not a frequent 2v2+ player). |
