Hello, can you scale SdKfz 222 a bit down, it's huge now, bigger then Puma. It should be bigger then Kubel but smaller then Puma. If it would be smaller it would be easier to hunt snipers with it.

Well spotted, yeah a smaller model file/pathing file would make it abit more helpful.

Visuals have never been important to Relic, so dont expect them to spend money on a new model.

Maybe they don't need to make a new model, only to make this one a bit smaller, scale it. Im not a graphic but I think it's possible.

Not really well spotted, everyone knew this since CoH1.

For some reason relic bloated scale of 222, which makes many players think it was actually big, bulky and durable.

I didn't notice it till it was brought to attention. Don't need to be a jerk. Here, I fixed it to a non-jerk level;

Wish they'd scale it down a bit.

I think there was another thread about it. I was also shocked when I found out that it should actually be the size of a USF ambulance.

Edit: Credit goes to Mr.Someguy :thumbsup:

Good find, there is a lot of little stuff like that that could be changed for the better. .222 has some of the worst pathing in the game

That was me that said that :D

It's true though, the model is from CoH1, back when Relic didn't really care much for authenticity. They flat out invented things at times, like Knights Cross Holders. The CoH 222 though is a mix of 221 and 222 Scout Cars, possibly to save time by 'combining' them so they didn't have to model different Scout Cars for Panzer Elite, but also possibly a mistake by the designer using photographs of both. Here's a real 222 with some German soldiers standing next to it for scale:

And here's some more info I threw together in the past:

I would love if Relic re-scaled it (except for the gun), but I have my doubts they ever will :(

Thanks again, edited my post :D

I don't know about their Editor, but it's not that complicated to scale an entity in other Engines and Editors as far as I know. I'm not sure about coding and function, but visually, it's possible in most engines to do minor adjustment.

Well, they still don't really. Otherwise German factions wouldn't be using "stun grenade"s.

depending on the engine scaling the file may not be easy. depends on how animations are handled and if the engine includes the ability to scale.
