This thread is called CALLIOPE COMMANDER EVERY GAME. I agree that axis can more or less weaken the enemy thats trying to kill your pwerfer. Difference is, calliope does more damage and more importantly is invincible in comparison. Last night i was playing a game where my ally had 5..... FIVE Calliopes (their should be a cap) and the enemy DID rush it with 3 panthers and a jagdtiger supporting them. They took out 2 of the retreating Calliopes and lost all three vetted panthers. About 10 minutes later in the game I used Artillery cover , drove past all their defenses with ONE coment tank, and took out 3 vet 3 pwerfers which i ended up chasing all the way to their base while being chased by their tanks (Comet out-drove them). Hopefully this brings to perspective the difference between lethal+fragile Artillery platforms and lethal+Durable ones. Well to be fair, Artillery Cover is pretty goddamn nutso. A single Panther could probably achieve decent, if not alike, results against Calliope spam with Artillery Cover giving it the opening too. (Not that this makes CalliOPope fine) In: COH2 Gameplay

Honestly, I'd still prefer that. A combat unit with mines, demos and repair criticals in addition to the flamethrower is still more interesting than yet another weak engineer+flamethrower. Thread: Misleading advice in Rifle Company19 Jan 2016, 04:32 AM Well to fix that, we should change RE Flamethrowers to instead be calling in a special Rifleman squad that upgrades to a flamethrower while lacking smoke, AT grenades, and having different vet with a more aggressive intent to it (Ugggh, it's just so boring now. Same ability for an OKW commander, which is still more interesting in practice since SPs are close to an actual combat unit without the flamethrower when REs with flamethrowers are just the same as EF engineer flamethrowers). There a good unit for ambushes with STGs which is basically what they are meant for. If you want the shreck it's not bad as you get armored denction and can ambush overextended or low hp Allied vehicles. People like to extend until they're mid to low health and pull back. Destroyed many a vehicle with stormtroopers but than again Panzerschreck PGs with camo cloak is better. Storms are 0.05 better, actually. On a related note, 4480 FUCKING EXP FOR VET 3 IT'S MORE THAN OBER VET 4 (Obers' is 4256) ಠ_ಠ Obers don't have to wait for 2240 exp to go from 2 to 3 either (Obers' is 1600)... In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: [USF] Live And Learn +%10 faster vet bulletins stack19 Jan 2016, 03:39 AM Jump back to quoted post19 Jan 2016, 03:37 AMNuclear Arbitor it's already doable though, if you're lucky enough to get three of a good bulletin like +7% nade range. this just makes it so that people who don't have 3 can use it and so that bulletin always make a difference rather than 90% of bulletins being pure shit, a smaller fraction being useful if you stack 3, and some being OP if you stack 3. it also makes it easier to balance. Yeah, but those examples are also a bit of a problem...I really think most of the stats for bulletins are better off gutted before doing that. In: COH2 Bugs
