I'd rather have the PaK43 not shoot through obstacles if I could choose. It would need other buffs, but shooting through walls and even terrain by default is everything but intuitive.
I think if it didn't auto-attack through obstacles it would be fine. It would still need some buffs to compensate but you should at least have to use some skill when it's shooting through a building
Especially since all other units's projectiles collide with terrain.
As stationary AT guns with no defense against infantry I feel like they are unique enough to have a perk like that |
I think they should give the pak43 brace and remove auto-attack through obstacles. Allow both the 17ber and pak43 to always pierce obstacles, but make it require attack ground to do so |

Just like penals, su-76, M5 and many, many other non meta units - they are way too amazing for us plebs to use them effectively, only micro demigods, like vipper there know their true value and have skill high enough to unlock their full potential.

No one said ppshs are amazing. Not me. Not vipper. We have simply said they aren't as bad as OP is suggesting, and that giving SIX of them to cons without any tuning is a bad suggestion

It is issue, but it should be clerified what is more destructive here off maps or recon, and what is better removing recon or removing off maps.
I personally think that recon should be removed rather then off maps.
I don't see how that can be the case, isu+il2 doesn't have any recon so that doesn't even apply
Jaeger armor has spotting scopes and recon. If you were to say remove one those because of redundancy, I would agree, but the issue here is definitely the stuka bomb. You only need to spot the howy for a second, so recon isn't the major issue |

3-6 PPSH can be fine but require much more tweaking than it's worth. For starters, i don't think you can just paste their current performance, give them 6x and call it a day. It would probable see an individual performance nerf with slight better 6 man performance but at the end of the day it would be an overall nerf cause it's better to have less weapon with better performance.
Imagine if we were to nerf G43 on Grens and give them 4 instead. They would suck ass.
For sure, I agree with everything here. As far as I know OPs 6 ppsh suggestion included no tweaking. And if it did, I still think you'd be right to say it's too much of a change
As far as the SVT goes, i do think it walks a thin line but i think it's easier to adjust the commander, specially when you can just balance the IL2 rocket strafe without affecting other commanders. If anything this last months, we know that the commanders is not carrying the Soviets, at least on 1v1.
The commander point is totally valid. Part of me also thinks Relic wanted the new commanders to shine a little, but maybe that's being too cynical |

Smoke nades which MP40 grants also allow you to overcome that potential bleed you know.
Smoke is only better if your in the cone of the mg. Sprint is objectively better in pretty much every other situation, and it helps for snaring too |
