The Panther is a brawling "TD", the Jackson is a TD that relies on its range advantage. Panther also has range and mobility advantage over Pershing though. Already have assault engineers, rangers, and paratroopers. All 3 of those can be Cqc and have garrison clearing I think making them like assault tommies would effectively be a nerf. The panther and p4 are in separate tiers, and are completely different units in multiple ways. The Sherman comparison makes a little more sense, but the m4a3 and 76mm only have a 15 fuel cost difference In: COH2 Gameplay

Off the top of my head I think they've only seen buffs since their unintended MG buff that was at least in 2017 (still ingame btw). Was that really unintended? Cause if they had only given that to the 34/76 I think it would be better against infantry than the 85 which would be odd The 85s main gun isn't that much better against infantry so the mgs put in a lot of work In: COH2 Gameplay

It most definitely would not be weak. It would probably still be too strong imo, it barely costs more than an incendiary barrage and it can knock out heavy tanks It's pretty easy to use on engine damage vehicles too. It's obviously very strong with Ram but I don't think that's the only reason. It's really fast and has good damage In: COH2 Balance
