actually sturmtiger isnt a heavy, or at least it uses medium armor camo. But still its more like an arty piece than a real heavy tank, since there isnt any way that this thing can act as one.
The ISU is what exactly? And don't say a heavy tank destroyer, the ap shells are pretty unreliable.
Aswell, Limiting this to It or KT would mean that one of the skills is overlapping, since you can put the panzer commander on the King tiger.
I don't know what you mean here. |
Excessive? Unless there's more that I'm forgetting, all they did was give them a bigger received accuracy bonus at vet 3. As for the new vet patch, I think we need more than 3 days to evaluate which squads need to be toned down. |
Looks good if you type its about 2v2 in the caption. Otherwise its close to absurd. But relic dont care abou 2v2 as well as custom games of any kind as was stated previously.
Or, you could just read the original post, which clearly shows that its about 2v2s. By saying what you just did it suggests that you don't really read the threads before commenting on them, you just see things like "maxim spam" in the title and throw in your two cents despite it having no relevance. BTW, the replay you gave is not a double maxim opening, by double maxim he means both soviet players going maxim spam, not 1 player building 2... |
I'm afraid that the new war spoil system comes > 2 years too late.
+1
I've got 13 frag range bulletins, it's a little late for them to be fixing it now. They said they were "looking into it" over a year ago, and the alpha was what, a week ago? I feel cynical being this frustrated with Relic, but they keep demonstrating more and more care for cashflow.
Anyone remember the Elbe day update? It was a few months before USF and OKW got released, and it was the last time I had any confidence in Relic. They released lend lease and mobile defense for free, along with some new maps and a massive update for bugs and balance. I remember thinking that they really had a handle on the game and being confident in where it was going. Since then there has been zero free content outside of community made stuff (or a very lucky warspoils drop), and half the commanders in the game are unusable against competent players. |
IMO 2v2 is such a absurd that i cant see what to like there.
Well seeing as you've never played with an arranged team, I can see why you might think that. It's slightly more fun to play 2v2s with one of your buddies than with random people you've never met. Funny how that works. |
name of this topic tells everithing. Game is balanced for 1v1. Changing units for 2v2 BS to break 1v1 balance is obnoxious idea.
You're very open-minded. Since your signature lists all us team game players inherently as "idiots" you seem to be out of place in commenting on a team game thread. Let us morons converse about the gametype we enjoy which oh by the way is regularly played by more people. (And not just because it takes more people, like there are regularly more 2v2 games played than 1v1s so...)
Sick and tired of this crap: "1v1s are the only thing that matter, there the only ones that are competitive"
I bought this game to play it with a friend, and a lot of people are in the same boat. But playing with friends must also be idiotic since that means I have to play something besides 1v1. By the way, it looks like all you play is soviet 1v1 so just leave this thread alltogether. |
I don't get how people think the pershing got bugged, you could never take the crew out cause of the limit as people here have said. Also LOLOL at cp10 pershing.
The commander is very good, and mostly not because of the pershing honestly. Rifleman field defenses at CP0 is one of the best commander abilities in the game now that they get a good mine, rangers are great, and the smoke barrage is useful. Combined arms is very situational, and the only complaint I can sympathize with for the pershing is its health. 230 fuel is a lot for 800 health, regardless of how good the gun is. |
The sturmtiger managed to escape the OKW cost adjustments somehow, it's really far too cheap.
Which is especially problematic since it's locked behind cps instead of tech.
Comparisons to the KV series are pretty unfair. The KV-1 is just a beefier t34/76, and all KVs have far less health than the ST/Far less damage potential. |
Is this the guy i beat yesterday in Minsk Pocket?
I had a SturmTiger and later on a KT, while my friend had an Elephant.
Problem was, the Russian and USF kept trying to rush us through the mid section, instead of flanking, ofc they would lose.
How hard is it to read? The scenario I described involved two OKW players, in which I've seen the combination of what I described multiple times now. It happens in games where control has been mostly even, and then the absurd health pool I have to destroy just becomes too much. I'm not really saying that the performance of these three heavies is to hard to deal with. I'll micro around an ST anyday, and KTs are almost just as slow, but a JT, KT, and ST in tandem demands some ridiculously brilliant flanking since the factions mainline infantry can upgrade to shrecks. |
I was being sarcastic.
He is the first and only guy to start a balance thread about ST.
DO you ever comment with anything valuable? Like everything I read from you appears to be aimed at starting an argument that usually detracts from the actual conversation.
"Balance thread about ST" Seriously? Nowhere do I make the claim that the ST is OP, I am purely discussing it in the context of Relic's one heavy limit. The unit is fine as is, nothing about it should be changed performance wise, it's the matter of killing it while 2 other heavies are present on the field simultaneously. |
