Great post. I give my reasons for making my claim, you say "you're wrong, you must be new". Do you need to ask what I was trying to say? It stated it pretty clearly, blobbing was nowhere near as problematic before WFA. I did not say it didn't exist, I said it was "nowhere near as problematic". I'm not quite sure how that's hard to interpret. I said blobbing is so damn common with respect to the other cheesy strats in the game. As far as cheese goes it is by far the most common. And its rich of you to call me new all the while your playercard is hidden. I have been playing since shortly after launch. In: COH2 Gameplay

That is total bs. When it was just eastern front blobbing was nowhere near as problematic. USF and OKW are the two guiltiest parties when it comes to blobbing, you telling me that hordes of conscripts are just as threatening as blobs of rifles/shreck volks? Grens have the dps to be threatening in blobs, but at 4-men you better not blob them too close or your squads are gonzo. WFA escalated blobbing to a whole new scale. And of course cheese has been in since launch, that's not really claiming anything. That refers to any meta that's vaguely unskilled, there's bound to be a few strats here and there like that. Problem with blobbing is that its so damn common. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Resource Points in Team games24 Mar 2016, 03:54 AM Anyone like the idea of decreasing the resource income for each territory point by 1 in team games? I can't speak for 3v3 and 4v4, but in 2v2s I would be curious to see how it affects gameplay. I tend to attribute most of the frustrating elements of 2v2s to resource inflation, especially with caches being far more common. It seems like it makes avoiding vehicles until late game/heavies far more viable than it should be, but that's just me. Thoughts? In: COH2 Balance

I think that's the biggest issue, the map pool. Most of the 2v2 maps are utter garbage. With the vetoes we get I find myself debating on which maps to take off and then I pray I don't get a couple of the ones I have to leave in the rotation. So many of them encourage blobbing and don't offer enough flanking routes for the presence of 2 players a side. It's just too easy to lockdown areas of the map from flanks and then blob up on the rest. In: COH2 Gameplay

Very few games frustrate me as much as 2v2s in Coh2, and I bought the game back at launch specifically to play with my friend. So I find it pretty unfortunate that 1v1 is all Relic cares about, and when you come here to talk about 2v2 half the community tells you to kindly eff off since "1v1 is all that matters", as if the people who want to play competitively somehow spent more on the game than I did. Tanks escaping can be gamebreaking, since this game is so brilliantly designed around people waiting for their precious heavy tanks. To damage or kill a light vehicle with a machine gun you need to bait it in. You can't activate AP round while you are moving and enemies have plenty of time to dodge the attack if you are using the MG offensively. Your AP round will then go on cooldown and you will have to fall back. I meant in the controlled testing scenario. Yeah you need to bait it, but the mg42 also happens to be the best mg in the game, whilst possessing stronger (albeit, more situational) AT. And a luchs/scout car will have no problem circling a m42, and it'll be able to take multiple shots from it without really needing to worry. The 42 sucks, there's no reason to get one, you might as well go guards and get a squad that doubles as good AI and light AT (heeyyy, like the mg42...) In: COH2 Balance
