How about stop running your Jacksons in front of the paks to begin with?
Jackson and Pak both have 60 range. You can shoot at someone's spearhead tank before his pak can touch you.
If it is too hard for you to comprehend that AT gun KILLS tanks, use bazooka.
Unless your tanks have blitz and also possibly panzer tact, which is on two of the best commanders. Fortunately capture mode is better than both of those, allowing the allies' tanks to survive even the most absurd amount of properly-placed AT. |
How is it that the bulletin stacking feature is so heavily in favor of the axis? Sherman bulletins do not stack but Panther ones do? I understand that you can spam more shermans than panthers, but the panther already performs better than everything else anyway. Also, the fact that the Tiger bulletins can be used on the tiger ace seems very silly, like the TA needs any help. What I can't wrap my mind around is how stug G/Es get to use all the same bulletins but 34/76s and 34/85s don't. Seems real gimmicky. |

I dunno about needing more penetration. Here are the vet 2 stats:
+25% damage, +50% max range penetration, -55% set up time,
+40% weapon rotation speed
Well if it needs more survivability like you suggested, than getting it to vet 2 is harder than it should be. |
Jeez you people are bitchy. You complain they don't patch the game often enough, and now they're doing almost weekly tweaks, and you complain they aren't releasing large enough patches. There's no pleasing you people, so why don't you just be quiet.
I mean whiners like you who will just sit there and complain on the forums no matter what Relic does. You'll whine and whine and even though eventually you get what you want, you'll move the goalposts and start whining some more. Currently you're whining that OKW got changed while whining that Relic isn't delivering enough changes, but if they went back to mega-patch every month and a half, you'll whine that it took too long and that OKW is still broken.
I think its a pretty universal truth that if your statement contains the words "you people" (arranged just like that) then you're making some sweeping generalization about the thing you're responding to. Maybe people are hard on Relic, but trivializing everyone who criticizes them as "whiners" is pretty lazy. They said they'd change war spoils over a year ago, and the same damn system that not-so-subtly encourages everyone to just pay for new content is still running strong.
I'm disappointed with the last few patches, mainly just because it seems like some changes are being made with zero care for the consequences. That OKW patch was predictably crap, and many people called it ahead of time. |

the only thing the .50 needs now is a fifth crew member for survivability or less received accuracy.
Just last night one of my mates and I were gushing about how solid the .50 is now and how it's on par with MG42 so I don't agree with you OP.
I would be fine with nothing but a survivability buff, but how can you think that its on par with the mg42 while also supporting the .50 getting a fifth man? They're both four man squads, and if one needs the extra man it while the other does not, than one of them is performing worse. The US have better infantry to defend their mgs, so theoretically it should survive better if the two are on par.
I'm not saying the .50 blows, but the mg42 is the better of the two IMO and it is most certainly cheaper.

The .50 cal is still under performing in my opinion. It doesn't suppress as quickly as the mg42 due to the .50s slow ROF, yet it costs 20mp more and is locked behind tech. Stealing an mg42 as the US is a gift from the gods, cause it means you don't have to waste more money on something less effective. The sprint ability is worthless and should be replaced with something a lot better. There's no reason for the .50 cal to have a crappy ability while the cheaper and earlier mg42 gets one of the best abilities in the game.
Furthermore, both axis mainline infantry come with great counters to the .50, being the flame nade and RG. Allied mainlines need to tech to theirs, and the molotov is a shell of what the flame nade is, since it takes so long to throw and has a shorter range. Smokes and frags are great, no dispute there but it still requires consistently more effort to dislodge an mg42 than a .50. |
I'm 100% soviet player in 4vs4 and the game is not that bad even against okw.
I think the devs need more time to collect some data to improve things.
Speaking of data, the soviets have a .52 win percentage in 4v4s while the OKW have a .764.

US Marines vs Imperial Japan as a base game for coh3 would be nice. I think having it start in the pacific and maybe expanding the game to include Europe would be a cool change. |

You lose your light tanks to shreks? thats bad micro or you dont support your aec/t70/stuart/
Yeah, it's automatically the allied players fault if he loses a light vehicle to homing non-directional AT weapons that also happen to have the highest damage and pen of any handheld AT in the game. Automatically an L2P issue, what an educated assumption to make.

OKW has been one of the poorest designs for a faction in RTS history. It tells you how well designed they are that the "revamp" has made them laughably OP. I swear someone at relic is just pushing buttons at random hoping that one day the game will accidentally balance itself.
2v2 they are just horrid now. 2v2 AT as allies is my most played and its not even fun to win anymore. Have to go through too much stress and frustration to beat double OKW. |
