It is not related to how much damage you deal or how often. If you balance it agains heavies it won't be good against mediums and the other way around. The only solution would be to make it say 5 or 4vor maybe 6 shots kill any tank by a TD. Each shot is the number equal to say 1/5 1/6 etc of the target's health. Depending on a TD it would be more or fewer shots. A Jackson could be say 4~5 shooter. Stug say 6 shooter etc. In: COH2 Balance

Increase reload time for TDs, increase damage dealt for TDs and reduce target size for mediums. Mediums tend to fight close to each other so they wont get as affected as much as TDs. A good spot would be one with a medium tank receiving two hits by TDs and have some sliver of HP left. Simply because 2 TD in the current meta is not too hard to get and its even easier on Teamgames. You claiming bias on this test, when you only see up on axis side and op on allied side invalidates your claim entirely. The test was to show 4 men grens vs 4 men sections. To show if you do not upgrade to 5 men what would happen in the inf department. To me sections are fine. Brits have great versatile infantry. I always use bolster. As UKF you must play like ostheer and use the full power of sections AND mgs. You just can't play them like USF or Sov. Sections can easily carry you to next stages of the game and remain your staple infantry. I can't imagine a scenario where realistically speaking you don't put sections in cover where they are boosted. In their "natural" circumstances and when properly supported, they rock. When it comes to testing - one should test all scenarios and only then draw conclusions. You can't set up a test in probably the only scenario when a given unit loses and use it as an argument to boost a unit. A risk of unbalancing is too great then. In: COH2 Balance

Based on the watched tournament matches where allies m36s act like more efficient cheaper Panthers. Their impact on heavies seems ok. IMHO it would solve the problem. Tank destroyers would just calculate their damage differently. Depending on how strong a TD would be it would take away 1/4, 1/5, or any other given fraction of a target vehicle health. They would be much cheaper than heavies but they would be a serious threat to them. Mediums would fight them on more equal terms. Heavies would be very resistant to mediums. Mediums would be good against infantry. Tank destroyers would not be good against infantry. Great cat and mouse tank gameplay guaranteed. In: COH2 Balance

The problem starts when they start shooting at mediums. They are too effective here. Solution: Make every tank destroyer deal damage as a fraction of target vehicle's health. It would need the same number of shots to kill a medium and a heavy. It would lead to a great gameplay with a tank that can kill heavies and mediums in the same number of shots. Lots of interesting mouse cat situations. In: COH2 Balance
